Delicious, crunchy, ideal for cocktails.
I don't remember the price I bought this for, but just on taste alone, this is incredible. For cocktails, especially tiki drinks, you cannot do better.Real talk though - half the time, I sub out Turbinado cane sugar instead, and I can't tell the difference. And I know that costs a fraction. But the real thing is probably worth sticking with. Sprinkle it on warm cookies just out of the over with some flaky salt. You'll thank me later.

Love Demerara Versatile Brown Sugar
This is a great product. I use it in my simple sugar mix for Old Fashioned’s . It makes for a smooth taste that’s consistent. Also great for topping cookies and cakes.

Best sugar to compliment your baking
Perfect for Baking.. For years I have used Turbinado Sugar to lightly sprinkle on home made muffins or breads.. But Demara Sugar has a much larger grain, adding a subtle crunchy sweetness to any home baked items.YummmHard product to find in stores..A little pricey.. But considering how little you use when baking.. Will last for quite a while.A Lil hint.* a regular spice bottle ie: McCormicks etc.. When you are done, wash it out really good.. Pour some Demara sugar inside.. Replace the plastic cover with the tiny holes.. It makes the sprinkling on baked goods so much easier, and cheaper too. You don't need a special tool/gadget to sprinkle the sugar.Hope this helps

Packaging sucks, otherwise it's still demerara sugar
Not much that can go wrong here other than it being the wrong kind of sugar (and it's not). So the bulk of the product is five stars all the way. The only catch is that the cheap plastic REALLY sucks. Would it kill them to do it in a kind of plastic that doesn't rip? Or maybe even one with a ziplock top? Those are my only gripes, but it makes storing this stuff a pain in the neck if you're not using the whole bag at once (and that would be a VERY sweet recipe).

Packaging
Delicious product topping for dessert or my Frappuccino. The plastic packaging it’s in tears apart, place in an air tight container immediately.

Handsomely packaged fancy sugar
Expensive? yes. But all the crystals are evenly sized - no dust. And worth it? yes.
