Soft bristles
The whole scrub is a silicon material besides the plastic hole on top to lock the covor in place. My dog has a bit longer fur as he's shih tzu mix, it's nice to use since he's so dramatic. Good quality for the price. And it works as intended, good for scrubbing without hurting him.

DO NOT BUY!!!!!!
It does not work! It collapses when you try to use it and the cap comes off while the shampoo spills out... and you won't be able to return it unless you only want 66 cents because they only have UPS pick up and you pay for the return!! Ridiculous!!! If I could I wouldn't give them one star!!!

Using less dog shampoo
I use a lot less dog shampoo, as I can get it to where I need it, but the shape is a little awkward.

Small, doesn’t dispense soap and lid doesn’t stay on
Soap doesn’t come out unless you squeeze it but If you squeeze it the lid pops off quite easily. When you finish washing you dog and lay it down, then the soap decides to ooze out over the next 20 minutes. Maybe it has a use for scrubbing your pup after you apply shampoo by hand, but don’t plan on it dispensing shampoo automatically or the lid staying on while in use.
