For the price, this really should be watertight. Its extremely expensive for how small it is but it was worth it as a gift - I wouldn't pay this much if it were for myself. Its really nicely designed though and i'm sure you can make it water tight if you wanted but the "roof" hatch will always have gaps on the side.If you find a cheaper one, get that. If you don't, you will be happy with this one.

I can’t praise this item enough. The build quality is superb and it’s perfect for our air plants on our kitchen window sill. It’s so good we bought another for our second kitchen window, and our daughter bought one too.

This is super cute. It looks like a regular green house that has been shrunk…… Honey I shrunk the greenhouse!!!…… It almost makes me wish I could shrink myself and potter around in it. Alas I bought it for my son who doesn’t live with us any more so it is not in my possession so I will have to put away the shrinking machine and just stick with my regular shed.

I used this for planting mainly succulents which need an open terrarium and as it is very easy to leave open (it has a lever to ensure it stays open)but this can also be removed easily thus closing the opening and therefore making it possible to replant and use as an open terrarium, so very adaptable!

Perfect size for a trarium. The top opening is generous enough for easy planting and tending.

Really lovely product, sturdy and well made. I love how the top opens and has a little arm to keep it open!
