Norpro 99 My Favorite Spatula, Black (Pack of 2)

Unless I am cooking pancakes which I seldom do, this is my favorite spatula for breakfast. Scrambled eggs, over easy eggs, bacon, and sausage are easy with this smaller spatula. Stir fry or other cut up food work will with it also. I had one for several years and it eventually broke. I knew I wanted to replace it, so I ordered 2.

I searched for a long time to find the size and shape of spatula that my husband likes for cooking breakfast. When I found these, he was happy?However, the material is not impervious to high temperatures - even as high as one uses for frying eggs and sausage. After some time, the nice sharp edge (that slides easily under a partially cooked egg) becomes rough and uneven.All in all, these spatulas are inexpensive and well worth the price. If you need to replace them every several months, that's OK.We'll still go with the name: "My Favorite Spatula."Just as an aside, I took one of the worn spatulas to the garden. I have garden cloth that gets dirty - and weeds grow in the dirt. This old spatula works beautifully for scraping that dirt and those weeds right off the cloth!

"My favorite spatula" indeed!This is the ideal size to use for pans that are difficult to dig into, such as steep-sided brownie pans, and pie plates.This spatula can be used only for serving, it does not have a cutting edge.It is just the right size for serving small slices of rich desserts, like cheesecake.The spatula can also be used to slather frosting, or to dig out and spread that last bit of peanut butter in the jar.I bought the package of two for just a dollar or two more than I would have paid for a single one.The quality is good enough for my purposes, though there are nicer, and more expensive, spatulas on the market.

Very poor quality. I have used approximately 4 times for grilled cheese and pancakes. None done with particularly high heat. End of spatula melted and plastic was found in pan. Would not recommend at all.

I purchased one of these a couple of years back...and finally got around to buying (2) more. It is a great all around spatula. It doesn't take up a lot of room in the drawer and is universal with whatever you are dishing out. It does have a narrow footprint, so larger, less sturdy food may slide off, but it is great for the other 95% of the items you need it for. Highly recommend.

I'm not sure how I lived and cooked without these in the past. This is the best spatula made! Super sturdy and thin so it fits nicely in the drawer. It has a sharp beveled edge so it easily gets under any kind of food on any kind of pan or baking sheet. I loved these so much that I have 3 of them, 2 for the house and another for the motorhome!

This is a great little spatula! Guest often ask me where I got it. I’ve given many away as gifts- makes a great stocking stuffer !
