Wahl 9953-1301 Groomsman Pro Sport, Black/yellowThis little gem, is little. Good thing it's clolored a manly bright yellow and black, or one might think it was a lady's shaver. Really, no way man.I bought this to replace a very old and loyal Whal who's batteries are giving up the ghost. They don't make that model anymore, it had a vacuum system which I loved, didn't leave a barber shop type mess. Mister Yellow, not so much, he thinks he's in a barber shop and can leave hairs anywhere, which he does. I guess, if you already deal with the hairy mess, it won't be a problem for you, or your wife.That being said, this little yellow gem is easy to hold, so many cutting angles with its rotating head, cuts very precise and there's all those attachments and other goodies. Only thing missing is a good storing/organizing tray. Comes with a travel bag, tray better for home, yes.Ya, Mister Yellow has a new home, hope he last ten or more years, as his vacuum styled predecessor did, may he rest in piece, in the land of old, tired and worn out shavers/trimmers.

I bought this to replace another product that I had for years but would no longer charge. I was disappointed when it arrived to discover that the charger would not sufficiently plug into the unit. This appeared to be a quality assurance issue. My disappointed was abated a good deal when I discovered how easily II was able to return it for another one. The new one arrived a few days later and I imagine the two crossed paths at UPS. The new one does not have this issue. This one helped me realize how dull my old one was so I'm glad I wasn't just able to buy a new battery. As other reviewers have mentioned, the stand for it makes no sense what so ever but I never intended to use it. I find the attachments easy to change and I believe I will be quite pleased with this for years to come.

I was just looking to update my electric razor kit, but struggled to find anything that may the needs I was looking for, particularly the foil attachment. Most kits come with a tiny, feeble foil attachment that is maybe a third the size of the standard clipper attachment in the same box. This one us a matching width and works better than any foil shaver I've ever used. Great product

I've used Wahl trimmers for years. I had one that lasted almost 10 years that was great but eventually died and it was time to replace it. The replacement one lasted only a couple years before the battery gave out and it could barely hold a charge but still worked well.Last year I replaced my old one with a new Groomsman Pro and found that two of the teeth were missing. The battery kept its charge okay and it worked fine otherwise, but I had to be careful with the missing teeth or I'd cut myself. I finally decided to get a new one after being annoyed at all the little nicks and this one just arrived a week ago. All the teeth are there which was a good start. But it's louder, seems to slow down considerably when it comes into contact with too much hair so I have to go very slow, feels like it barely cuts so I have to keep going over the same spot, and it keeps pulling hairs.Wahl's quality seems to have gone downhill considerably over the years. I used to think they were a quality brand, but not any longer. I guess it's time to find a new trimmer.Super disappointing.

I wanted to be able to give my son the crisp, sharp edges I like but this doesn't seem to do the trick...it cuts like it could use a sharpening but I just ordered this in October of this year...too late to return it! Additionally, the charging cord is short. If I could send it back I would!

I was apprehensive to buy this based on some of the reviews but I needed to upgrade my old rechargeable Wahl. This thing is great! Comes with different size clips and options to change the tool heads, can always use more oil, nice touch that Wahl throws a little bottle in all their products. I didn't care for the plastic stand/holder since I travel and threw it out. I love Wahl products, they never let me down and are always very good quality, last a long time. I haven't experienced any nicks or cuts on my face. Affordable and really a great shaver!!!
