This book hadan audio sample but when i downloaded the book i couodnt find the audio forthe book. Cqn anyone advise.

I love it because it had the scriptures printed out along with the devotional!

There are only 18 real life stories in the back of the book. I bought this book for my mom's birthday. She already has the Jesus Calling devotional. But she loves reading Guideposts because of the real life stories so I thought she would really enjoy this additional book. The subtitle says 365 devotions with real life stories. That sounds like there's going to be a real life story with each devotion. But the text is exactly the same. I think it was very misleading and just a way to add a few stories (12 from different people 6 from the author) and sell another version of the same devotional.

Finding a daily devotional was a challenge for me. I can't stand the syrupy sweet crap that is so often published for female audiences. I don't need a devotional for the Christian woman or mother or whatever. I need a devotional that, with sound theology, leads me into a more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. That's what I found with Sarah Young's writing.I'll admit my relationship with Jesus is not intimate. It's functional. I know that about myself. Yes, I love you Jesus, but I'm more than a little uncomfortable getting too ooey-gooey with you. But I need to be ooey-gooey with you. That's where Sarah Young is helping me in small, bite-sized bits each morning.This devotional is nudging me forward to a more personal, close, and real relationship with my God, and I'm not always comfortable with that, but that's okay. It's exactly what I need.My best endorsement is when I can say, "This Christian book doesn't make me want to puke." Thanks, Sarah Young. Your book doesn't make me nauseous in the least. Well done!
