Smith & Wesson CKLPR 5.3in High Carbon S.S. Folding Knife with a 2.3in Drop Point Blade and Rainbow Handle for Outdoor, Tactical, Survival and EDC

The knife is small, thin, and light which is just what I was looking for. The safety lock was very secure. This would be a great knife for kids or even adults who want something unobtrusive. For this knife it's better without the clip, it's very slim and the clip would greatly increase the bulk of the knife. Overall an excellent value for the money and the finish looks great, but if you want one with a clip or that an adult can easily open with one hand [too small] this may not be the right knife for you.

Perfect subtle and tiny pocket knife, will fit in a jeans coin pocket. Just a bit bigger than a pen knife. Arrived very sharp and I'm confident the 440 will hold the edge, used it to break down the packaging and boxes of other mail when it arrived. I bought it to replace a lost MTECH USA MT-472RB Tactical Folding Knife 3.5-Inch Closed - which was a little thicker and slicker, somehow more slippery (ETA: found my MTech! It was slightly too big for my pocket one day so I clipped it to a boot, but it was small enough to forget down there!) This knife has a satin finish, is very light and slim. It's fantastic as an everyday pocket knife; I need to check mail and receive parcels at work, so having this fit in my pocket like a whisper is great.I've just added pictures of the Smith & Wesson CKLPRCP Little Pal Knife, Urban Reflective and the MTECH USA MT-472RB Tactical Folding Knife 3.5-Inch Closed that I thought I'd lost. The MTech is bigger than I remember, after handling the Lil' Pal.

read the specs so i knew it would be pretty small (and it is but such nice quality for the price) but it was a little stiff at first to unlock and close; all i had to do was wedge the lock over to the center of the bottom of the blade a LITTLE more, and let it sit wedged for a few hours. fixed perfectly after that. sharp little thing too! S & W always delivers

Love these knives! Bought two. They're used in an alterations shop instead of seam rippers. They're lightweight, which makes it easy to use on lighter materials but very durable for denim and heavier ones. The blade is sharp from the package and sharpening it is quite manageable. We're always looking for a good knife to use in our shops and these have been our favorite so far. I know people use knives for different purposes, not usually for sewing; but these are easy to handle. They fit great in the handle with that slight curve in its design. Portable. Available in other colors. Good buy!

If you want something that is a little different and you keep a knife in your pocket to open mail or clean your fingernails, this will do. Color not applied very carefully, so looks splotchy and uneven in places.The blade is, for lack of a more accurate term, dull. I haven't tried sharpening it, but as it comes out of the package, you have no worries about cutting yourself.As another reviewer described, it comes with a tiny torx wrench to remove the main hinge screw and install a small black clasp. But trust me, you will have no desire to do so. It isn't a clip or anything useful. If they went to the trouble of making the screw removable, it would have been nicer if the provided a loop.But it's not bad looking, and you need a filler item to get free shipping, it's not awful. It doesn't have 'CHINA' stamped on the blade, but I wouldn't suspect it's because it isn't made there.If it sharpens up okay and holds an edge I'll be a little happier.I gave it 3 stars. There are a lot better and there are a lot worse.

I wanted a little pocket knife that was small and sturdy. I have had a few s&w knives given to me in the past. I liked them enough for the quality and expected the same from this one. The gasoline rainbow finish on most knives looks tacky but it doesn't feel like it came from a carnival. Might look like a knife that the"sides fell off of" to some but there is a solid feeling to this knife for how small it is. Wonderfully sharp out of the package, will shave hair. Its nice, I like it.

Little smaller than I was expecting but worked out great. Got it for my girlfriend to use at work to break down boxes. She loves the size says it fits in her pockets and she can forget its there. Not a super smooth open but it’s a cool looking knife
