If you like a strong massage that is different to the usual massagers, this is the one.
I used to have a similar massager to this and have been looking for ages for another, this style is different to the usual cheaper models. The difference between this and your usual ball rotation types is that this one offers a pinch type of grip. Some people have said it is too firm for them but I’m used to a very firm massage and like a strong pressure. It’s good for relieving knots in the shoulders and upper back. It also works lower on the back but I found the pressure quite gentle when used this way.I’m only on its first use so I’m hoping it continuously work well.

Good but no substitute for a proper massage
Works well but a bit inflexible. Components are hard & can be difficult to position. Good control over speed & intensity. Well made & attractive colours. Easy to use if somewhat limited in its capabilities (but no different to all other similar machines for that matter).

Better than you probably expect
This was a bit of a speculative gift purchase for a family member who regularly suffers with knotted neck muscles. To be honest I was expecting it to be a bit disappointing- rather like those ‘foot spas’ and massagers that used to be sold back in the day or the rubbish massage chairs you find in cinemas. In fact it far exceeded expectations. It’s is robust, gives a seriously deep neck and upper traps massage and is quiet. we ended up fighting over it.It could do with a longer power cord and suffers from being a bit creamy brown. But I promise you it will exceed your expectations.

Realistic feeling but only helps shoulders.
The media could not be loaded. My main issue with this is the short 1m power cable so I can’t move around at all with it on. It is also so specific as a shoulder massager it doesn’t work anywhere else. The description says it works on the back and legs however I found it just pinched my back and had little effect on my legs. The heat is also too low down and I couldn’t feel it.What I really like about this is how it feels on my shoulders. It feels like someone is giving me a real massage to my neck. The case is washable and the buttons are easy to reach and use, although there are no lights to tell what function is active.Overall I think this is good specially for shoulders and does a better job than a massage gun or any other kind of massager. However, it’s a lot of money for a small area and so not great value for money in my opinion. I would prefer a seat mounted one which can do a lot more.

If you like massages with ooo's & arrrr's, maybe even the odd ouch, this is worth the investment!
The media could not be loaded. I've had a few of these from smaller brands and the step up in cost to this is noticeable, but then so is the quality. It is extremely well made and you can tell it is a premium product. That said there are still a few minor annoyances, so more on that later.BUILD & FITThe unit is covered in a canvas fabric and the "arms" which go around your neck are fixed, rather than fully flexible (there is a little give). At the end of these you will find the canvas loops for putting your hands or arms through. The massage unit is bang in the centre and I found it fitted my neck/shoulder area really well and it "sits" in a much more reassuring way than the previous types I've had.MASSAGEThe massage is amazing, though you should be warned, this thing takes no prisoners. For those who like massages that are borderline painful (sometimes even crossing that border!), then this really works the neck and shoulders (upper and middle trapezius muscle). I've included a little video of the unit, showing the 3 different massage modes (normal intensity, faster intensity and massage) which I hope you find helpful.Normal and faster intensity is a constant cyclical motion and you can choose to have this clockwise or counter clockwise. Massage mode is a staccato movement (again you can choose clockwise or counter clockwise) but because of the pauses in between movements it feels like someone is really pinching you (in a good way!).ANNOYANCESIf you are a big/tall person you may find the arms not long enough or it a bit uncomfortable to put the hands through the loops. Also I found it fiddly to reach the buttons if I wanted to change the program once the massage was under way and it was wrapped around my neck. The heat never gets that hot and often I couldn't really tell if it was actually doing anything. Finally the power connection on the arm is liable to being knocked, resulting in an immediate loss of power during a massage and then you have the fiddly bit of getting your hands out the loops and reconnecting.CONCLUSIONIf you are after a very well built massage machine and enjoy your massages with some genuine ooo's and arrrr's, maybe even the odd ouch, then this is worth the investment.

Very strong massage
I believe this neck /shoulder massager to be quite or near unsafe for use by anyone with real neck problems.I personally have cervical spondylitis and suffer much pain with numbness and tingling down my arms. I didn't realise that this massager would be so strong plus too narrow around my neck. I can't recommend it
