My university health center used to offer these disposable thermometers for students to monitor their fever status when ill, and I was impressed by how handy and hygienic they were. These are just as good, perfect to keep on hand in your purse in case you need to check a kid’s temperature on the go or to eliminate the risk of cross contamination between family members when multiple people are sick. It does take a minute to get an accurate oral temperature so these aren’t instant read and you do need fairly good lighting to be able to discern which dots are black and which are green to read off the temperatures, but they do give measurements consistent with our trusty Vicks’ digital thermometer

I like the idea of this disposable thermometer. Instructions were very clear and understandable. However, the dots are so tiny, I had to read the temperature with a magnifying glass - even while wearing my glasses. I would love it if this product gave a numerical display instead of having to read very tiny dots. Also, maybe if the dots were neon orange they would be easier to read alongside the tiny black dots on the surface of the thermometer. Awesome idea, but needs improvement in reading temperature.

I love the idea of having a portable disposable thermometer, and they are semi-easy to read, but there is a time limit before the display gets unreadable. Regarding accuracy, it was a fraction off of my Vicks Thermometer reading, which is my go-to. overall, I would recommend it for on the go temp readings.

The fancy ones I had all broke down. These are simple and easy.
