Good product, well made and good value
Easy to "assemble". Quite light and easy to use. Cuts grass and weeds....MUCH more convenient than my old petrol Mcculloch or corded Flymo strimmers.Battery life is only about 15 or 20 minutes full on use, but I would suggest that if this is a problem you should be buying something more industrial instead? (like a lawnmower?) I get bored by then anyway and do something else while it charges.Comes with a spool with a lot of wire - I haven't managed to use it all yet.Nearest thing to a gripe: when you have assembled it you can't disassemble it to put it back in the box! - which I would normally do to put it away for winter...UPDATE 12/8/2020: Still excellent. I now know the spool holds 4.5 metres of line, which lasts about 6-8 hours of my strimming. I bought a Bosch spool/line spare last time but am now looking at trying generic 100 metre 1.6mm line packs.

Super lightweight, great battery, and the wire feeding system is excellent.
This product has been a game changer for my garden. Its so quick to attach the battery and then get around the whole garden. The best thing is that bits so lightweight, which is great as both my wife and i damaged our backs. The battery is very quick to charge, and seems to have plenty of life. My lawn area is about 40ft square, and it only takes me a few fins to get round all the edges. The wire system is also brilliant. Every time you click the power button, it releases a small amount of wire. that way the feed is continuous and never needs manually feeding. We love this product so much, we went and purchases the mower in the same range.

Works OK as a strimmer and recharging the battery is at a good rate
I purchased cordless because the area I wanted to strim was too far an electric lead. This is my first purchase of cordless garden electric equipment and so far I am pleased with it. It works as a strimmer with automatic feed of the line. The instructions mention a button to push to feed more line but there is no button and it all happens automatically. There is a button to push to turn the head 180 degrees. Assembly from the box was very simple.

I only buy Bosch
Every garden tool I have is Bosch and they are far and away the best for cordless in my view. This is lightweight but solid, the battery life is plenty for strimming and the design means it switches easily for border control (where have i heard that phrase before lol) . It took about 5 minutes max to put together and is to replace an old Qualcast equivalent which to be fair has lasted 6 years. I'll come back in 6 years if this hasn't been as good.....

If you got spare batteries..this is a no brainer
I thought this would be good enough for only small tasks... But I tackled a very overgrown garden (above knee height on grass) and it coped solid. The battery does not last long... Maybe 15 20 mins max.... But I have many of these batteries from my drill and multitool.(6 of them) so was able to just continue using and swapping them out and by time I was done...the first battery was fully charged. It has earned its keep in one go alone...as quoted 60quid to just strim the garden down...so it paid for itself as I bought on Amazon day.If you got some 18v batteries off other Bosch tools (check compatible)...get this. You'll be fine... otherwise...it will be flat in 15 mins ..and a heavy overgrown garden..will take lots of recharges to do.
