Old Mountain Pre Seasoned Ol' Iron Kettle, 6 Inch Diameter

Solid, well made. Used for Play and they looked fantastic. Actors handled very well. Was smaller than expected but that was more on me than the advertiser.

Excellent quality, weight and size. It is very sturdy and well made. I did not buy it to cook with tho, instead to use as a cauldron. I see a lot of others bought it for the same use. I burned some myrrh and frankincense resin on a charcoal briquette inside the cauldron. I placed the briquette on top of some sand to reduce heat. Pictured below is a good idea of size and I put an incense cone on top of the burned charcoal briquette to further help with scale. There is also a dehydrated orange slice that helps for scale as well. I am very pleased.

I use this for spells, rituals and mixing ingredients. I'm not sure it's thick enough to cook in. I haven't tried to eat from it because I didn't buy it for thatI'm sure it would keep stew and chili hot if you chose to eat from it. It seems to clean up nicely, but you may want to season it occasionally if you do. NEVER use soap on cast oron.

Perfect size, nice and heavy. Handle is fine. I do wish it had an option for a lid.

This is perfect for what I was looking for and it's well made.

I am Pagan, so I will be using this kettle as a small cauldron for my altar. When I got it, I was surprised at how large it was! 6 inches in my head is smaller than in real life, I suppose, but it looks lovely! There were a few shallow scrapes on the surface, but it's nothing that can't be fixed with a good seasoning (and they were outside, so for cooking purposes it isn't a big deal). The handle is nice, and it works well when you're actually holding it or hanging it from something, but it's a little crooked (probably happened in shipping) and it can fall off when it's just lying there or you try to move it around.It was packaged with a tarot deck (yeah, I know, I'm cliche), and there was hardly any wrapping at all. This is not the fault of the manufacturer, but rather [...] shipping.All around it is definitely worth the price, especially when you see all of the specialty pagan shops selling 2x3 cauldrons that aren't even food safe for the same price. Really cute and really useful!

I bought this for moon ceremonies for burning lists. It is small, but mighty! Plenty of room to burn and be placed on an alter. Solid material. I did leave it out in the rain accidentally overnight and it did begin to rust.

I'm impressed with the quality of this cast iron cauldron.
