Actual tin can. You can't open it. But is a good size and the price is right. When it is full we will have to then decide how to get coins out?? At least a toddler can fill it and if it's dropped coins won't go all over.

Small but useful
I'll start by saying the item is a lot smaller than I expected. Especially since it is nearly $10. Although it is small, it is actually useful with saving money because you're unable to open it and take the money out unless you break or pry it open. However, it is definitely NOT worth $8 and isn't user friendly since you only get a one time use out of it.

Once you put the money in only way to get it is by breaking it!
I bought it for my friend who was saving for a trip to Italy. The fact you have to use a can opener to get the money made her save a bunch of money for her trip! I just have to keep reminding her to put money in!
