There was a mixup on the specific RTC/CMOS LI-Ion battery I needed for my laptop. I waited a couple of months to try and install it and discovered my error. RomeTech support was Fantastic! They had a technical support phone number!! I called and their technician helped me identify the correct battery and had it shipped to me.

purchased to replace dead cmos battery on nuc7 (nuc7i5bnh). Took me 10 min to install, restart the nuc couple times and then in bios I could see the real current time! Everything worked just fine, though if you will be doing replacement for the first time, you'd have to figure out that you need to peel off cover from the adhesive part. No instructions were provided, but I kind of figure out that on my own.

It fit perfectly with the right connector. I was surprised to see the motherboard had this type of connection rather than the typical socket. I thought I'd have to create my own adapter for new batteries, but was happy to see a viable replacement already existed at a good price.

This is an exact replacement for the coin cell battery in the Intel NUC mini-PCs. I bought two of these and put them in two different models of NUC, one 5th-gen and one 7th-gen. I appreciated the adhesive sticker to replace the OEM one. The plug was correct.

All good, 3 volt lithium cmos battery with the correct connector. The wires were a little longer but that was good. Also the adhesive pad on the back was a plus. Very Good!

I wasn't 100% sure this would work on my motherboard, but I'm happy to report that it did. My motherboard is the ASRock Fatal1ty X470 Gaming-ITX/ac.

With this battery dead, my PC would not boot up after a power failure. Replacing this resolved it.

Shame on this vendor for advertising this battery as compatible with my motherboardShame on the motherboard manufacturer for installing an inferior battery at the factory that fails prematurely - I've dug out ancient PCs from closets that haven't been turned on in 5 years and the CMOS batteries are still good.Shame on the PC industry for not standardizing polarity on these things.Shame on Amazon Prime for taking 6 days to deliver this from the coast opposite of where I live.Terrible all around - and the final shame that I can't give it zero stars.
