Set your fears (and gray eyebrows) aside. This product will take years off your face if, like me, your brows are sparkling with gray hair. I researched and read many reviews before selecting this product. I also need to thank other Amazoners who shared their wisdom in thier reviews. But their cautions had me so fearful I almost did not proceed. But hating my gray brows gave me the courage to try. So glad I did. My experience was uniformly great and I did not suffer any of the troubles or downsides reported by others. Just lucky I guess. Here is what I did.I wet a wash cloth with water and gave my brows a bit of a scrub. Patted the area dry. Took a picture of my before brow just in case the change was too subtle to notice (insert chuckle here since I know how this turned out). I mixed up the potion in a little cup used for serving boiled eggs. I first used a toothpick for stirring and finished up using the spiral brush included with the packet.I was a bit timid on the first eyebrow. I used just a little product and applied it with the slant brush. I was trying to keep it off my skin for fear of staining so I tried to get product just on the brow hair. I left on for two minutes and took it off with a wet, round, cotton, cosmetic pad. It came off easily with no staining.On the second brow I gooped on more product using the spiral brush and then smoothed it out with the slant brush. This time I smeared it on in the shape of my brow down to the skin. Again I took it off after two minutes. Better coverage using more product and applying it with the goop/smooth/smear technique.I decided I wanted a bit more color so I did it again on both brows. End result was excellent coverage with deep pigmentation. I had no staining and no stinging. The results are really amazing. Truthfully an instant improvement and no I did not need to compare a before and after photo to tell the difference. It was happily obvious.The most important thing I want to impart to other users is to wait longer than I did before applying the product a second time. The color still deepened after I removed it with the wet cotton pad. I may not have needed the second coat.Similar to the observations of others, I will note that the medium brown is very dark. Two coats of it is very dark indeed. I have ordered the lighter shade which I will experiment with next time. Even though my finished brows after two coats was darker than intended, I have absolutely no regrets. Funny how such a small thing changed the appearance of my face. I was paying to have my brows colored but no more. I can do just as well at home for far less money.Lastly, there is enough product from a single capsule to do the brows of several people. Gather up some friends with similar hair color and have a brow party, but no drinking until you are done!

I purchased these to color my eyebrows. They can also be used for regular hair touchups. Godfrey sells a four capsule eyebrow color for almost the same price as this 20 capsule set. This set is much more economical.

Background:I originally purchased the Dark Brown shade, and while it darkened my brows, it was a little cool for my skin tone. Note that my skin is caramel brown, with lots of yellow/orange undertones. Even though I had a lot left, I ordered the Medium Brown because I thought it might be a warmer shade. In the end, I was happy with the result and it looks much better to me. You can get just as dark, it only takes a bit more processing time compared to the other shade.Before reviewing the product itself, I have to say that my brows are naturally sparse *and* lighter than what I would prefer. I can shape them perfectly, but still have to fill them in every day to look like I have brows. On top of that, even one shed hair looks like a bald spot until it grows back in. I purchased this product to save time in the morning.Application:You mix equal parts of the dye and developer, then apply with the brush that was included in the box. Directions say to put Vaseline around your brows before application, but it's really not necessary if you're used to filling in your brows. If you make a mistake, just wipe the spot away before it sets. Note that you only need to use about 1/3 of a gel cap per application, so this box should last a while. These are a bit hard to open, though, so I transfer the powder to my own empty gel cap. That way, I don't have to worry about spilling anything. Once mixed, I apply the dye in stages.I do a quick once over to get a starting point (~1min processing time). In doing this, I feel like it looks more natural to start at the outer edges, then slowly work my way in. I don't apply anything to the inner edges until later. The 2nd application is to perfect the shape and fill in any spots that didn't take (30-45 sec processing time). I keep applying/re-applying until the dye looks even and natural. From there, I let it sit until I feel like wiping it off. Don't be afraid if it looks dark. The total process is around 7-10 minutes (from mixing to cleanup) since I take my time with the application.Results:The color will gradually fade over time. I shoot to go darker since it'll lighten up when I wash my face in the morning. From here, your results will vary based on what your natural brows are like. For example, I've said that my brows are very sparse. The results look amazing on me for the first 3 days or so because the skin is also stained under the hair. As that fades, I have to start filling in any bare spots even though the hair is still darker. It's about 2 weeks for me until the hair color is faded as well. If you have fuller brows, it'll probably last longer until you need to re-apply. I'd imagine that it's also dependent on how often you're washing/exfoliating your face (and with what).Even with this timeline, the box has enough dye to easily last me a year. I'm very happy with the results because a few minutes at night lets me not bother at all for a few days with my brows. As it fades, it's still less time spent until the color wears completely. I will definitely continue to use this dye, especially before trips/sleepovers when I wouldn't have access to makeup or a good mirror. I think it'd also work well in swim season, when your brow product would wash right off.

Tried so many different ones. Nothing beats the color and how long this one lasts. I love it. It will never turn reddish, or lose its real color. It just washes off as you wash your face, but it’s normal. It does fill in a bit where hairs are missing. It’s gentle on sensitive skin. No rashes. No redness, no bad smells. Easy to remove from skin if you clean up with a cotton swab as you apply to the eyebrows or hair line. I cover my grays along my hairline with this as well and that ties it all together with the eyebrows. I have platinum blonde highlights and this looks great. People always ask if I got microblading done. 😉 buying more in case they ever discontinue, hopefully never!! Not even my hair stylist can get this perfect medium brown shade I use without fading after a few washes!Great quality hair product. I’ve used this brand for years and it’s never failed me. What I like most is it only sticks to the hair and not the skin. What I don’t like is sometimes the capsule is hard to maneuver and powder misses the little mixing bowl :( I use all the browns (light medium dark) and they work well for me

I have used this product for years and been pleased overall. However each order the shipment includes fewer dye capsules AND the result fade more rapidly.
