The strap buckle for my trunk car battery broke. This works PERFECTLY. Solidly made. Spring tension on clasp keeps strap taut. Teeth on clasp are grippy, but do not damage strap.

I made extra long roof rack straps for carrying 5x5 birch plywood sheets. Looks like cast stainless parts. The knurling on the jaw is grippy but not the spikes that tear up the webbing like other cam-buckles I have purchased. I have not taken it to the beach yet and it is magnetic so it's not made of the Most corrosion-resistant alloy. We'll see.Great bang for the buck. I would expect to pay much more for 316 stainless.

Worked great for a strapping project in my camper. Good value, strong grip.

As advertised,Heavy duty metal construction. Will buy again if have a need.

These straps slip on standard 1 inch nylon strap at around 40 lbs. Other brands I have ordered (not currently available) have worked to more force than I can apply. Probably over 300 lbs.

The illustration is not quite correct. The levers on the ones I received are almost flush rather than angling up, with less leverage, which makes them harder to thread and adjust. Otherwise they work OK and are more rugged than run of the mill buckles.

Loosks a feels like my original. Fit and finish is excellet.
