I’ll update after I get the other cord I need to use this with my amp on my phone.UPDATE!These made it possible to stream music from my iPhone, through my amp and into my 990 Pro 250 ohm headphones flawlessly from my perspective. Streaming my favorite artists from SoundCloud and mixing beats is next level mobile now. I heard things in some music I never knew was there and some of those beats, I’ve heard since I was 16 on MULTIPLE audio output devices. This is GREAT! No lag when mixing either. Yes, this cord works. Only weird thing is it has a blinking blue light on the usb. Didn’t expect that.

I use this in a portable rig for wrestling show audio. If it wasn't good I'd know it quickly. It's well built. It also puts out excellent quality sound. Note that it's an output device only, it doesn't do audio capture.

Wired UNBALANCED when the USB chip is happy with providing balanced audio.The cable is okay, but again, is only 2 conductor and so it's UNBALANCED.The XLR connectors want to be Neutrik clones, but they are much cheaper - poor design and poor materials, poorly made.It provides audio, and, at least this cheap cable was wired correctly for un-balanced audio - unlike another cable I purchased that was mis-wired to be unbalanced and out of phase!. BUT... it should be using 3 conductor cable for balanced audio - for better noise rejection and longer runs. Sad.

Computer to speakers, works perfectly. Have no opinion on durability because they get no movement ever. They feel solid and appeare well built.

Using these cables, I noticed creaky noises coming from my XLR speaker monitors. I tried them on two different computers, but the issue persisted. Some of the sounds resembled old modem connection noises, especially during large file transfers. Switching to a DAC resolved the problem. The DAC balanced stereo channels well and installed drivers automatically on Windows. I had to remind myself that this solution was to good to be true, as it can't replace a DAC for professional audio and video applications.
