Great introduction product
This is great if you are getting started with alternative power or looking for a nominal amount of power. Ie a camper shed or small system. I still use mine and it works great

Using it for my wind generator
So far it's working well. Wish it would show Amps created not Watts.

Readout screen is tiny
Works as advertised. The instructions are confusing and screen is tiny so be careful when programming. Still haven't gotten the 12 volt switching figured out

The solar did charge but there are issues. Maybe I got a defective one?
I wish this thing did what was expected. The first thing that happened was the voltage shows up on my fully charged agm battery with a reading of 13 volts when my meters clearly show 12.9 So I took the battery down to about 12.7 volts to see how well it charged after setting it to top off at 12.9 as my oddysee 31 series has a full charge at 12.85 At this profile, it would not charge to a full charge (cant remember the reading) so I reset the top off at 13.1 and it quickly took the battery up to 12.9 which is no problem. The unit still read incorrect battery voltage though. The wind turbine showed it giving a trickle charge at low wind speeds and the main reason that I bought it (boost chip). However the battery charge dropped for two nights in a row, with a very low load of a few watts. My old cheap 15.00 ebay controller never caused a loss in battery voltage under the same load condition! Maybe I got a bad one? This looks like it would be a very nice unit if the wind turbine charged better. Both nights actually had decent winds and I should have had a full battery for sure. I also do not understand why there is a power drain overnight? I hate to send it back, but dont want to take a chance on another one.
