this is not a commercial unit and you will be disappointed. If over worked this unit will quit
If you have a medium to large inflatable this is a must have. The low speed pump sounds somewhat unsure and fragile but when the hi-pressure pump kicks in that's when the unit goes to work. This pump is fast and efficient. If you have more than one boat or a fleet of boats to inflate, this is not a commercial unit and you will be disappointed. If over worked this unit will quit. I purchased a 12v 12ah sealed wet cell battery which fits snuggly in the provided carry case. It can inflate the boat many times before a recharge. It makes set up of the inflatable in remote places possible, you don't need to hook up to the car battery. Just set the desired pressure and relax. I prefer this unit over the higher price unit, since less electronics/features and less to malfunction. It's a simple pump with an auto setting, not complicated at all. After lots of hand pumping in the past, this is a miracle. Wonderful device.

Sending it back.
It inflates the boat just fine. I am not sure if the pump shuts off at the desired pressure because it just kept running and I shut it off. I tried turning it off with the on/off switch which did not work so I shut off by unhooking the battery. When I started using the pump I realized that I should have bought the pump with the built in battery if you do not have that feature you will either need to lengthen the power cord or turn your tow vehicle around if you are using a trailer. Also the digital feature would be nice it is really hard to tell what the dialed in pressure is on the rather vague dial. I cheeped out. Also if you plan to use the pump in a large inflatable like mine there is no way to use it on the water without taking a battery with you.Day two after deflating the boat to get it prepared to put on my trailer I inflated the boat about 1/2 way by hand the night before. Hooked up the hose to the boat and pump. Hooked the leads to the battery the pump started running it ran and inflated sounded like it changed to the high pressure setting. it ran and ran and finally shut off but the chamber seemed under-inflated I moved the hose to the next chamber the pump ran for about 1 minute and shut off. I made sure that the end was secure in the valve. The pump never changed to high pressure and I let it run for almost 5 minutes on one chamber it never brought the pressure up to where it should have been nor did it ever go to high pressure. On off switch does not work. Calling them tomorrow and sending it back. I will see what there customer service is worth.

2 Years and Three Inflatable Boats Strong
I purchased this item over two years ago and have used it probably 100+ plus times now across three different inflatable boats. Zero issues. Works like new, and 100% solid. The bag does have room for a small battery, maybe 12V 7AH or something like that. I cut the alligator clips off and installed a standard car plug and use it with my Minn Kota battery box. Draws just over 10A, so make sure your circuit protection can handle it. Excellent product. Very durable.

Perfect pump for inflatable boat.
This pump is perfect for an inflatable boat. Fast and easy. Used it to deflate the boat also. Purchased a small 12v battery, hooked the pump to the battery and that’s it. This pump is in KPA not PSI but the conversion is easy.

Poor CFM flow rate or air volume
The volume of air this compressor puts out is not what I expected. It takes to long to pump up my 30’ air track 20mins+. Although it pumps up and stops at a desired pressure. l would expect more volume. For the price, I was expecting more volume or a larger CFM output flow rate. This may be fine for a item with up to about 90 cubic feet of air volume. But after that your at the mercy of the pumps maximum run time of 15min. I don’t think the pressure gauge is worth an added $50 above other pumps with out a built in pressure stop.

Must-Have for Large Inflatable Boats!
We bought a 13 foot Saturn inflatable boat (the SD385) with an inflatable deck, and I was not looking forward to pumping it up with the hand pump. It turned out that inflating it with the hand pump isn't that bad if you have kids - they were excited to pump it up so that worked out the well the first time. We store the boat deflated, so I have inflated it a half-dozen times with this electric air pump so far, and this pump is FANTASTIC! I just set the dial to the pressure I want and hit the little red "go button". The dial in in "kilo-pascals" or "kPa", but you can use google to convert from PSI to kPa easily (type "convert x psi to kpa" and hit enter). I also cheated and wrote the kPa values for the tubes, floor, and keel on the inside of the transom with a Sharpie marker so I can remember. :)We use an electric trolling motor with two 12-volt deep-cycle marine batteries for the boat, so when I am inflating the boat I just hook the alligator clips from the pump to one of the batteries. Inflating all three tubes, the keel, and the floor takes around five minutes (ten for me since I usually forget things like installing the seats before the tubes are full).Absolutely no issues with the pump so far, and with a two-year warranty I figured you can't go wrong. It sure beats inflating by hand!
