This worked GREAT. My front yard is pretty small, with a small grassy area, a few flower patches, and 2 trees, and it was always crawling with slugs. Not only after a rain, but even just in the evenings and every morning. I didn't know what to do. I was salting them whenever I saw them, figuring that was the best I could do. I got this Sluggo Maxx delivered on May 5th, and used it the same day. I immediately saw a lessening of the number of slugs by the next morning, and by the next weekend there were no more... none. It's now July 9th, a full 2 months later, and my yard is still slug free.I'll be purchasing another one soon, so that I can keep it that way for the rest of the summer!

I had been using another brand to keep the snails from chewing my dahlias. It wasn’t working well enough. I did some research and found this to be the most recommended brand to keep snails and slugs from eating the flowers. It worked better than all the other brands. It’s now my go to brand for gardening.

This thing worked like a pro..I had so many snails crawling on the wall of my house. All I had to do was follow the instructions and wallah...They're not all gone but they're a lot less, that's why I'm getting another one.

Just like the title says. It definitely works as a slug deterrent. Completely wiped out as I was having a little bit of an infestation in my greenhouse.. only problem is that it leaves mold or rather it turns into mold after it gets wet from watering the plant. So just be aware of that. as far as I understand the insecticide/pesticide still works even if it’s moldy it will continue killing slugs that encounter it, but I really didn’t feel comfortable having that mold so near my plants. I think that it might have contributed to some rot in my plants incurred after usage. Just be careful and remove after

It works well but pricey for the amount of garden i need to be slug free. Too many dahlias they want to feast on, I may add crushed eggshells and coffee grounds to save on buying multiple canisters of this but will continue to use Sluggo.

I'm a total Sluggo fan. I had moles that decided they were going to destroy a piece of my lawn - it was awful. I read where I had to get rid of their food source so ordered Sluggo (original) and applied it every two weeks until they were gone. In between all of that, I planted new grass seed. The Sluggo broke down to a fertilizer so imagine my amazement when that part of the lawn never looked better - ever. This year, I purchased Sluggo Plus because the moles came back in a small area where they were before so I got in front of that one and sprinkled Sluggo Plus in the area and around it - they are once again - gone and I haven't had to reapply - I have a funny feeling that I will and I have a lot left to handle it.

These monster slugs reach up to 6” long and leave slimy trails in their wake. I admit, I put it on heavy. The next night I went out with my flashlight (that’s when they come out) and guess what? Only one slug. The next night there were none, and now… five days later still none. We have our house back.All I can say…. It’s amazing. This product has positively affected our lives. My wife now uses our sidewalk again to access the front door.

Effective on slugs. Easy to use. A lifesaver for slugs in garden bed on lettuce. No smell. Effect for about 2 weeks
