XXL 14.76'' Jumbo LCD Radio Controlled (Official UK & Ireland Version) Silent Wall Clock with Temperature and Humidity display

Just insert 4 AA batteries (not included) and it does the rest. Great as an office clock, or for an elderly relative who's prone to forgetting what day it is. It's my 3rd Youshiko purchase and I've been delighted with them all.Regarding the inconsistency of temperature readings, yes you will get different readings in the same room from different devices. That's not a fault. Air temperature really does vary within a short distance and wall temperatures are often different. The devices, and the things they are attached to or sit on, all warm up or cool down at different rates which complicates things even further. In short, don't worry about it!

I must confess that I may be a bit OCD when it comes to accuracy with my clocks, they must be accurate and easy to manage. This is a great combination here with the Youshiko Jumbo LCD Digital clock.I had a number of analog Radio Controlled Clocks over the last 10 years and they were good once they were synchronized. The sync process could take between 1 to 20 min and the process would take about 5 min for the analog hands to be correctly positioned - and this would be accompanied by a whirring sound. When batteries would be on the edge of low, the clocks would self reset periodically.I have replaced 3 of my analog Radio Controlled Clocks with the digital versions due to age and the low ticking sound that would drive my daughter nuts. The digital ones are silent and have near instantaneous setting time. All 3 are Youshiko brand LCD clocks.The Jumbo clock is currently my pride and joy because of its large face, large time digits, the day name in full and better positioning of the day/month. This also has the year and moon phases. These clocks also have a thermometer so I get the room temperature as a bonus. This is very useful when setting my thermostat as I can get a accurate value of a "warm" room and I can be confident when setting the room temp.Amazon had some great deals on the prices of the Youshiko branded clocks which tipped my hand when it came to purchase them, over the past 3 months. I have had no trouble with this brand of clock, but issues normally would be seen after about 2 years when the batteries would require changing. At the moment, no problems.High quality, great additional features, large clock face at a bargain, what is there not to like :-)

The sizes were given but I didn’t measure it. I just chose the smallest of the two options. The characters are BIG! I LOVE it! I don’t have good eyesight but I can see the info on this clock from anywhere in the room. Despite the characters being large, all the information on the clock is nicely spaced out so that it is easy to read. Being radio controlled, it took no setting up at all. Feed it batteries(x4), and it will do the rest all by itself. I am VERY happy with this clock.

The display is excellent and easy to read: a large LCD with big bold characters show the time and day very clearly from distance and from all angles. There is good contrast between the light grey LCD background and and the digits. Time is accurate as you would expect.Bezel is substantial but in keeping with the large display.My only real issue is that the digital thermometer is not properly calibrated and consistently shows a temperature one degree and a bit below the actual temperature as measured by analogue thermometers I have. There doesn't seem to be a way to adjust or calibrate this. I just have to remember to add +1.3~ degrees to the temperature when I read it. Annoying but, digital thermometers are quite poor generally.Overall, excellent for it's main purpose of being an accurate timepiece with easy to read display.

Only had a couple of days so don't know how long the batteries will last, but essentially am very happy. Display is large enough for anyone to see from a distance and looks decent/pretty on kitchen wall. Yes, it doesn't have a backlight to see at night, but what wall clock does?! Set up was easy. Didn't receive reception first time, but popped out batteries, put them back in, set by window and within minutes everything was working. Accurate time, according to other thermostats in the house this one is accurate as well as humidity. Can't fault it so far.

Very nice and easily readable from a distance, day name is a lot smaller but is clear to look at but have to be closer.Otherwise a very good and well worth the cost clock.

Uncluttered display with large hour and minutes digits and permanent display of seconds, day, date, indoor temperature and relative humidity. Two minor negatives that I've noticed by comparison with a weather station from the same manufacturer bought about the same time:Even though both update from a time signal from the same transmitter at the same time each day, the seconds display of each is never completely in step with the other. Not a deal breaker but it calls into question the rather extravagant claims regarding accuracy!The internal temperature reading of this and my weather station differ by about 1.5 degrees celsius... even though they're about 4 feet away from each other! If you're going to express temperature to 1 decimal place, at least have the accuracy to justify that! The relative humidity also differs by about 4 percentage points

Bought Jan 2023.Superb readings of everything I need to know. Accurate time too.Oct. 2023Auto BST had conked out along with atomic clock updates, plus variable display of symbols on the right of the screen. Sometimes they show, sometimes not.I was happy overall with the performance of this clock until everything went wonky, the other one I bought is fine.I decided to buy another. This is probably a “Friday Afternoon” example. I have missed the Return Window. This one will go in the Bin.
