Best J-Clip Pliers, 8" Soft Grip Heavy Duty, Cage Building J-clips J-clip pliers j-pliers

My terriers were escaping the yard so, I used these pliers to join poultry wire to my existing fenceline. These don't hv a spring in them & it was hard to use at first. I taped a sponge between the handles to make it spring open- it worked great. Be sure to have both sets of wires locked in the lip of the pliers before squeezing tight. You will make mistakes. You will get upset BUT, once you're acquainted with the pliers/clips, it will make your tasks much easier. Use an apron to carry your clips w/ you(if fencing). I almost felt guilty for the ease in fencing the yard. ALMOST. There was NO WAY I was abt to tie wires to nearly 3 acres of fencing! Also, watch youtube vids for pointers. Good luck!

I bought this after using the cheaper j-clip pliers from Tractor Supply. The cheaper ones sent me to the orthopedic for carpal tunnel syndrome. These stronger pliers from Amazon were recommended to me from other rabbit raisers and I wish I would’ve asked before I ever made the first cages. These stronger ones feel like the clips are butter, they work so well.

Makes good crimps. Not to tight which is nice to get your fence/cage oriented correctly.

Aside from leaving the j-clips a little loose, the pliers worked great!

Easy enough to use, takes little effort. A little hard for my small hands. Made a couple of rabbit/groundhog resistant plant cages in no time.

Great set of pliers. Offset handles make it work even better.
