Non un libro per chi inizia il trading.

I really enjoyed this book. Although I will point out that it is different than most trading books.The book is organized into 3 sections each representing a different phase along the successful trader's journey. I found that reading the summary chapter of each section first and then going back and reading the rest of the section to be the most productive way to read the book. The summary chapters have large detailed lists of exercises and homework for a developing trader to work on. Also there are frequently asked questions sections in these summary chapters that I found very helpful. It is the most complete step by step set of exercises I have ever seen for trader/investors. If you actually do what Tharp recommends, you will improve dramatically in many areas of your life not just trading.As for the spiritual side to the book, I found it very interesting and helpful. Although based upon other reviewers, it appears to threaten some people's belief system. I find this ironic since so much of the book talks about how beliefs affect everything in your life. Your beliefs are the Matrix. What is most interesting is how much Tharp recommends developing your own personal beliefs and then verifying those beliefs are useful, not too limiting (All beliefs are limiting in some way) and healthy. If you find you have beliefs that are not helpful or too limiting, then you need to replace them. That should be easy to do unless you have emotional charge attached to those beliefs, in which case it will take some work to release those beliefs. The book goes through numerous exercises to help release such unproductive beliefs.So I do not agree with the readers who were threatened by the spiritual stories in the book. The point of the stories was as demonstration and insight, not that you adopt any of the beliefs presented in those stories.Tharp does recommend many of his other products in the book. Personally I don't think this is an issue, the book is full of so much unique material that I was very happy I bought it. Although I do now own several Tharp products and I am very impressed by them. Trade your way to financial freedom is pretty good, and The Definitive guide to position sizing is amazing. The sheer power of position sizing is outstanding; it is the real "Secret" to the market. It makes 80-90% of the difference in my opinion. Yet I never hear about it from anywhere.

This book is finest yet written by Dr van Tharp. Amazing book. Must for any trader who wants to be successful. I should have known him 10 yrs back. I wasted all these years without Tharp books
