Great trap
I work on a farm and have used this to control the cat population by catching kittens and bringing them to shelters. It is very sturdy and easy to use, and does the job perfectly.

I’ve wanted a trap like this for so long, for little kittens in my neighborhood who need TNR or taken into rescue for rehoming, and don’t trigger the usual bid traps for adult cats.This is one special little kittens trap.

As much use as a chocolate fireguard!
I bought this is 2017 as the time I had a huge cat problem. Cat faeces on my garden from a variety of neighbours' cats that would leave their deposits on a daily or even twice daily basis!I tried ultrasonic cat alarms and then finally got one of these humane traps. I had never managed however to get a cat to go inside mine, until last night. The trap hadn't been used for some time given it's lack of success when I first bought it. Upon having a rat in the garden though, I got it out again (both for the rat and cats who had returned!). I don't think this is designed for rats anyway, but a rat that I trapped found a gap and got out.I was very annoyed however that after catching a cat last night, it escaped in under 2 minutes!The wire is flimsy and soft. Easily bent with a single finger. The door is not secure at all and is just held in place by a spring.The trap works by the door being held in place by quite a sensitive catch. When tripped, the door springs downwards and unfolds. Where it unfolds, when pushed from the inside, the unfolded part of the door presses against the top of the trap. You can see from the photos however that the door has become deformed where indicated. Cats and other similar sized animals can easily squeeze out of the bottom taking full advantage of the bendy wire frame.If the door was more secure and the wire thicker it would be a good trap, but it's current design is a total waste of money! Do yourself a favour and get something far better.
