M.A.C Pro Longwear Paint Pot, Soft Ochre, Cream Eyelid Color

Update: I forgot to add in my original review, the Mac Paint pots are technically considered to be primer and/or cream shadow. I am using them as primer and they are working wonderfully. HOWEVER, I did try a couple of the shimmery pots and did not like them on my mature eyes. (I am 55). I didn't not like how the shimmery ones looked. (I tried Bare Study and Vintage Selection. I thought these both looked crepey on my eyes).The ones that I am loving are "Painterly" and "Soft Ochre" with my favorite being "Painterly". They go on smooth and look great under my eye shadow. I will be sticking with these two so long as they are available :)___________________________________I was a regular user or urban decay eye primer for years. I became disenchanted with them when they decided to add a doe-foot applicator in the tube, taking the place of where product should be.I recently heard that this mac product could be a good eye shadow primer. I am pleasantly surprised. It works great. Eye shadow shows well on it. It also does great job of even-ing out the skin tone of my eyelids. It doesn't crease at all. Goodbye Urban Decay :)

This really helps around the eyes, under eye and on lid. It makes skin even. I use over moisturizer and under make up.

AGreat quality as always. This paint pot makes the dull yellows and pinks stand out on any skin tone. It’s a Great product that I’ve been using for years and will continue to buy as long as it is available. If you are looking for a great shadow base that will display your shadow colors in their true vibrance Soft Ochre is the perfect paint pot.

i ordered this color to use as a primer on my lids before my eye shadow and it’s great.. eyeshadow didn’t crease or disappear. product is smooth and easy to apply, absolutely recommend

I had to do some homework to figure out why I am having issues with this product. Still not sold, but if you wear any moisturizer on your upper eye or lid, this product will not work

I rarely write reviews, but I was extremely disappointed to see that not only was the box in terrible shape, but the paint pot that I received has Clearly been used. It's disgusting that this product was even sent to me. Everyone who has purchased one of Mac's paint pots knows that it's difficult to open the pot the first time around. I opened the lid of the product I received, and it open very easily. The paint pot should be completely smooth when it's opened for the first time. This doesn't even deserve 1 star. What a waste of time!

It is thick, and stays in place.
