Q: Has anyone taken it on a trip? I'm going to Peru for 2 weeks and would like to use it for showering etc. If so, what size should I get?

It depends how you intend to use it. I use the 20" X 40" version for backpacking because it's big enough to dry you off after bathing but it's the smallest lightest version offered. If I were going to use it by the pool or at the beach, I'd get the 32" X 72" version. Are you going to be backpacking and cleaning up in a mountain stream? Or are you going to be using it in hotels?

Q: How should it be laundered?

Hi! Machine Wash on cold (medium cycle) and you can either hang dry or pop in the dryer on low setting -- they don't take long to dry. :) Thanks! Jessi

Q: Where is the loop located on the 32x72 inch towel?

Hi! The hang-loop is located in the middle of one of the long sides (72" side). It's located there, as opposed to a corner, so your towel doesn't touch the ground when hanging in the gym or from a tree. We have a graphic in the images section, too, that shows the hang-loop placement on all sizes of towels. :)

I dont know how heavy it is, but its very light.Lighter than a 16.9oz bottle of water with only 1/8th its water in it?
