Bought these to fray the edges of a rag quilt. They are not substantial enough for the job and, similar to other reviews, mine do "grate" a bit as you cut with them. However, they are OK for cutting threads and small jobs and they are sharp and pointy and the spring assist can be useful, just didn't fit the job I bought them for. They're also non returnable-which I hadn't noticed.

Absolutely amazing product. I do umpteen sewing projects and these thread cutters 'get right in there' down to the tip. Others I've bought are sharp in the middle but these ones are much more functional for my needs. Would certainly buy again - however, given the number you get that may be some time.

The blades are sharp but there's a couple of problems. The 1 set doesn't close properly, luckily the other 2 do so it's not the end of the world, and the blades on all of them make a grinding noise as you use them. It seems to be the sides of the blades rather than the edges so I'm not worried about them getting prematurely blunt but it can be a bit annoying. Aside from that they work, apart from 1, and they do the job.

I've only had those a couple of days, but they are good in use. I use them to trim threads in sewing. They snip close to threads, and so far have a good action. My previous pair based on this design eventually broke, but so far I can't tell how long thisecwill last. However, it was a pack of three, so I have backup.

These are great! The blades are super sharp, and you get a pack of three. Since getting them I have gone around snipping. Much easier to use than scissors, particularly if you are opening a seam or some vacuum-packed mackerel.Quick delivery and a good price. Deffo VFM.
