The best pans
I e had almost every brand of pot/pan over the last 35 years. These days, I take Tefal nonstick with the detachable handles to do most of my duty for quick meals for the kids. However, I was drawn back to steel pans to be able to get a proper browning on meats and fish. My last three brands I’ve owned All Clad, Fissler and now Hestan, there is not much comparison when it comes to the details. Hestan is really just that little bit better in every area. I can still do perfectly well with the others, but especially these nanobond pans really have the nice advantage of temperature control, not too heavy, easy to manipulate, super smooth surface (not nonstick) which makes it easy to cook with and easy to clean, as well as just looking nice. I’ve only had them for a few months, but I can already tell they’re going to be with me for a while. If you’re not super price sensitive, I would suggest to start with the induction combo to be really impressed.

A $300 disgrace and false advertisement
I did some research and discovered this exquisite design pan that I had been eagerly anticipating. However, it turned out to be a complete waste of time and money.- First, there is no way this is an 11-inch pan. Pans are typically sized up by 0.5 inches. If you're buying a 12-inch pan, it's usually 12.5 inches from side to side. This is a common practice. This pan doesn't even reach 11 inches. I'm not quite sure what rulers people use in Italy, but it seems more like a 10-inch or 10.5-inch pan. If you suspect a conversion error, they actually inform you that it's a 28cm pan, but it's not truly 28cm either.- Right out of the box, I noticed two small but very noticeable pits. This is not the level of quality control you would expect from a pan that costs over $300.- It is advertised that its surface is "400% stronger than typical stainless" and is safe for metal utensils. However, I noticed two scratches on it right out of the box. This raises the question of whether it is truly safe to use metal utensils.- Those rivets... they are nowhere near what you see in the stock image. This is clearly false advertising.- Sealed rim is another aspect they mention. You don't typically find this feature on other pans, so I was thrilled to see it in person. If you've ever used Made In or All-Clad, you'll notice the exposed aluminum, but there's definitely no gap between each layer. Their so-called sealed rim is not sealed at all; it's just bent over. There's a significant gap that can trap soup, grease, and oil every time you pour food onto your dish, making it difficult to clean over time. Disgusting! For a pan that costs more than $300, this manufacturer lacks basic quality control and does not honestly market their product. They show no decency towards their customers.

stop looking and buy this pan (yes it's non-stick... like every stainless steal pan)
I have had this pan for about a year. I use it every day. it still looks brand new. (yes I polish it) handles 700 degree heat like a champ for a Crazy sear.non stick... YES. It's called the Leidenfrost Effect. Heat the pan to about 370 degrees F, then add oil/butter then add the food. Adding oil or food to a cold pan = dried out food that is really hard to get off the pan.

Hestan, where have you been all of my life???
Oh. My. Goodness. SERIOUSLY!! I had been a snobby stainless steel All-Clad user for so many years - D3, D5, had it all. Got rid of it all when Hestan came into my life. If you told me that I could find something that cooks better than All-Clad, I'd have said you were nuts. When my beloved All-Clad started separating and creating razor-sharp edges, (I was so tired of cutting my fingers every time I'd wash the dishes.) I knew it was time to part ways.I started my research and came across Hestan NanoBond. Wow. Wow. Wow!!! Not only does it cook better, clean up better and look better, I can put it in the dishwasher without fear of delaminating. That's their guarantee!I don't like using traditional non-stick pans so that type was never an option for me. These amazing NanoBond pans aren't non-stick, so to speak, but they sure do behave like non-stick! Are they pricey? Super pricey. Are they worth it? YES!!! Save your pennies (and nickels, dimes and quarters) for these pans. You'll be thrilled that you did!

LOVE my nanobond pan!
Get the 11” for sure. The 8” is far too small for anything meaningful and you’ll want to move most of your cooking to the 11” pan to get the best bang for your buck. With a bit of oil, even eggs are easy to cook. If something gets stuck on when frying, it comes off pretty easily with a quick soak or immediately with a wooden pot scraper.Vinegar (don’t work but use a vinegar dilute and wipe off quickly) has done the trick to get my pan to shine like new again. I know people complain about it not cleaning up perfectly — either use vinegar, lemon, or their cleaning product and you’ll be fine.Regarding the price point, I pay this amount happily assuming I can use it for a lifetime and not worry about forever chemicals from a cheap nonstick pan wrecking havoc in my body.

WORST EVER
The media could not be loaded. 24hr soak with dishsoap can't even loosen eggs. I bought this because I have a new induction stove and this pan seemed rock solid. Customer Service says no pan has ever been "destroyed", maybe I'm the lucky 1st one, but since the first time I used it, the stickiest pan I've ever owned. Makes me want to smash things. 34yrs old and every other pan I've had was 1000x easier to clean and cook with, and of course MUCH MUCH CHEAPER.*edit* used their brand cleaner *only available on their site* bs.. anyway, looks new yay. Cook on low i guess, even though it says it's safe up to 1000+ degrees*EDIT* Requires HARD HARD SCRUBBING EVERY USE with their special BS brand name cleaner. Even just for 3 eggs. Get ready to soak for a WHOLE DAY and scrub your day away. Unbelievable they are selling this and advertising is as anything but the STICKIEST PAN ON THE PLANET.REGRET THIS PURCHASE SOOOOOO HARDBUYER BEWAREWatch my video above - also easily dents.. wow, can it get any worse?
