NikonZ TELECONVERTER TC-2.0X

This item is either faulty or not a genuine Nikon Teleconverter 2.0x. I mounted it on my Nikon Z 70-200 mm lens, the only lens that Nikon currently make that it will fit, connected it to my Nikon 7Z and was greeted with a warning that it was not a CPU lens or that a lens was not connected and as it was not a CPU lens to use 4 different setting which I did and the camera would not focus or operate. Disconnected the Teleconverter from the lens which I then fitted to the camera body and it performed normally just to make sure that I had connected the two items, lens and Teleconverter and the camera informed once more that it was not a CPU lens and to operate it manually and under the alternate settings, and again nothing worked at all!! I have used Nikon photographic for more than 20 years and this the first item that has not worked a nd really do not want to think the worst but having paid the recommended advertised price of £599.99p I will return the lens converter and would like my money refunded please

Really good but slightly expensive in my opinion, but better than the price of a 400mm lens. Great addition to my set.

I made photos with the Nikon Z 2,8/70-200 + 2xTelekonverter and with the Nikon 5,6/200-500. The sharpness was significantly worse with the tele converter+ Z 2,8/70-200 than with the NIKON objective 5,6/200-500. So I sent back the telekonverter.Ich habe Fotos mit dem Nikon Z 2,8/70-200 + 2fach Telekonverter und mit dem Nikon 5,6/200-500 gemacht. Die Schärfe sichtbar schlechter mit dem Telekonverter + Z 2,8/70-200 als mt dem Nikon 5,6/200-500, Deshalb habe ich den Nikon Z-Telekonverter zurückgesandt.
