First time growing these.. And this book is brilliant for the beginner.

It a good read but didn't exactly explain what to do

Very cheaply made very few pics

The author was obviously knowledgeable, experienced, and respectful in the art of Bonsai. However, as a beginner, I found the guidance in the book to be vague and broad. The focus seemed to be more waxing rhapsodic about the art of Bonsai rather than serving as a handbook of how to successfully grow Bonsai. Additionally, the book was not organized particularly well and certain aspects were repeated in several chapters. I'm sure some would enjoy this book and I found a few helpful tips, but if you are looking for a holistic handbook on caring for Bonsai, I don't feel that this book hits the mark.
