Second time I have utilized my new EEZ-Y Golf Umbrella. It withstood winds of at least 20 mph! Umbrella did not fold over or buckle! My son is a student who frequently carries a bulky backpack. Umbrella is very big and shields him and his backpack from the rain. Very pleased with all my EEZ-Y Folding Golf umbrellas! Highly recommend this umbrella!!!

I had purchased this umbrella in December of 2016, and took it the Caribbean where I was told to prepare for strong winds and spontaneous rainfall. It worked very well for about two weeks, but broke shortly after. The umbrella wouldn't close and if it did, it would pop open randomly without even being touched. I was really disappointed because I have had other products from EEZ-Y (specifically, the Windproof Double Canopy Construction Compact Travel Umbrella), which have been fantastic and enduring. So, I didn't really expect for this umbrella to break easily.I contacted customer support to inform them of my experience with the product. A member of their team, Andrew, responded very quickly and professionally, asking for a picture of the defect in the item. After sending them the picture, they immediately sent me a replacement product and were very apologetic about the inconvenience. I really appreciate their excellent customer service, and I have always believed that the product is only a fraction of what makes a business successful--customer communication and service are also just as important.With that said, the new umbrella that I received in January 2017 has been working well with no problems whatsoever, which is what I had originally expected! Their products do the job and are well priced.

Used it the first time today in light rain, but gusty winds. Seems to be very sturdy and easily handled the wind. It dried fast. Two adults fit easily underneath, which is what I was looking for. Two suggetsions for the MFG- I have small hands so the cushioned grip handle was the right size but it should be about a 1/4 inch longer and indented finger grips would be a nice touch. On the same not, the rope at the bottom is a nice feature, but should also be a bit larger for bigger hands to go through, especially on really windy days to give an extra sense of security. All in all a very well made umbrella that should give us years of keeping us dry. Happy with the purchase!

I was looking for an umbrella that was relatively easy to carry yet large to keep my clothes dry when it rains. I really don't like getting my nicer clothes wet. This umbrella is a very generous size with a diameter of roughly 50" (sorry, I'm recalling from memory) yet is still easy to carry. It merges the benefits of a full size golf umbrella with the convenience of a collapsible umbrella. While it's too large to fit in a purse, the attached strap makes it easy to carry.The umbrella has a button to open the canopy but it will not close on it's own. You'll need to pull the handle on the canopy down to do that. This was not a deal breaker at all though for me as the benefits of the umbrella far outweigh any negatives.

Have used this umbrella a few times walking in the rain for a few blocks, and it kept me and the book bag I usually wear on my back dry (my normal size 1-person umbrella would only keep me and not the bad dry). The only issue I can see is that the handle is a bit too small relative to the size and weight of the umbrella, which can be uncomfortable to hold especially in windy conditions. That said, the two-layer “wind pass through” design works great to prevent the umbrella from being blown inside out. Lastly, the fact that this larger golf-size umbrella collapses like the 1-person umbrellas is a wonderful feature that allows for easy transport while closed and in a standard size tote.

I really do love this umbrella. I live in Northeast PA and it has been raining here pretty much all summer. I starting using this umbrella as soon as I got it. It is the perfect size for protection while not being too big to interfere with anyone else standing or walking by. It also holds up nicely in the wind.Also, there is a contrast in the colors when it is opened which I really like. It makes it look classy

We've just received our two EEZ-Y Folding Golf Umbrellas. Out of the box the quality looks impressive. The center staff is a sturdy constructed metal. The two piece canopy is the largest I've seen on a folding umbrella. It's made of quality materials and provides excellent coverage. We have not yet had the opportunity to test these umbrellas in the wind and rain, but I'm sure that will happen soon (we live in Florida). I'll update this post after the rain storm.UPDATE 6/26/17: Tried both umbrellas in a Florida downpour...worked as advertised, good coverage.

I was quite satisfied with this, it was large and comfortable, quite strong. But still broke when we had a strong wind day. However, they gave me a refund.
