Biofreeze is a great product that you can only get from a Chiropractor and now here on Amazon. It’s a bit pricey if you ask me, but it does what it does very well.It’s basically a roll-on ointment without the smell, grease, and mess of other products. I’ve used both the spray and roll-on, and I think I prefer the roll-on better if you have a partner to roll it on your hard to reach spots. Otherwise the spray is better if you need to spray your own back. The roll-on is better in my opinion, because you get an even coverage of the area and you can add more to a single area if needed. Or a better word for it is control. You can control the amount and area easier than with a spray.Comparing this to others out there. I’ve tried Tiger balm, Icy hot n cold, and anything in between. I like this much better for my back since it doesn’t have the smell, grease, and messiness it’s easier for me to throw it in my bag and use it when needed.When rolled on it gives a cooling sensation and really drives down to the affected area to help relieve the pain. This usually lasts a few minutes depending on the amount you put on. A thin coat usually lasts 5 minutes and a thicker, couple of layers, is about 15 minutes.

Recommendations by physical therapist & works better than any other product like it, that I’ve used. As former collegiate athletic, I’ve got lots of muscle & joint issues from over use & repetitive motion injuries. Also have Osteoarthritis resulting from training. Biofreeze provides temporary relief. Depending on your pain level it may provide total relief, but for me it helps a lot to lesson pain. It has a strong smell that dissipates fairly quickly. So migraine suffers need to be aware of smell, but smell has never caused migraines for me. Smell is my worst migraine trigger. I prefer the roll on Biofreeze because I don’t have to touch the product. It rolls on smooth. I’ve never had trouble with the rollers nor any leaking issues. I keep on in my car, in my purse & beside my bed for use at night when pain is unbearable & prevents me from sleeping. Buying a set of 3 brings the cost down & I've found its the most affordable option. Best product like it on the market that I’ve been able to find.

I have a lot of medical issues. I am Mainly using this for arthritis, and fibromyalgia that is really attacking my body. Especially my muscles, ligaments and joints. I have had a total knee replacement and also a rebuilt ankle, lots of rods, plates, screws and wedges in my foot, and also a lot of pain in the muscles in my neck, and shoulder blades and lower back. I bought this again, and wow, it really does help the muscles especially. It calms the pain down a notch within 5-10 min. and lasts for awhile, I am disrupted constantly with these ailments during the night but once I put this on my neck shoulders, shoulder blades, knees, calves I feel a coolness within a few minutes and surprisingly takes the pain down a notch, not as great in my knee but it really has helped me fall asleep easier. I do wake up and use it in the night or early morning too. But for now at least it's helping some. The scent is a little strong at first but dies down quickly, I love the roll on, it gets right to the place you need it quicker and you don't have it all over your hands, not that you can't wash your hands after, But i really like the roll on. It's usually around 14.99 in our stores here, and I found this deal 3 for 31.99 I believe so it saved me a few bucks too. I'm hooked!

As a person prone to arthritis, I’ve been using biofreeze since I was in my thirties. It comes in several forms of applicator, but I like the roll on best (no smelly hands afterwards). It may not completely eliminate the pain at first but tones the intensity way down and usually allowed it to fade away after a day or two of use.When I first started using this product, I had a cat that was especially sensitive to anything with a medicated smell. I cannot even describe the hilarious dance we used do with me attempting to apply the biofreeze on my hip while my cat tried to get close enough to inhale it’s aroma. It certainly made for many a morning filled with giggles and a few shrieks of pain as she tried to use her claws to force me to stand still. Her new name became the “Bio-Freeze Babe”.

This stuff is so amazing. Surprised to find a topical pain reliever that doesn't leave any horrible stains, or stink all day long. I purchased this small 4 oz tube to see if I would actually like the product prior to investing in a larger size. I have a sports injury to my left shoulder and shoulder blade that acts up time to time. Like any sane person, I prefer natural and topical pain/muscle relaxers to what doctors prescribe. After all, a person can't pop Vicodin, Percocet, etc. without damaging their organs eventually.
