Breyer Traditional Wood Horse Stable Toy Model

I liked the toy as it is well made

I ordered this stable in fear, as I read the reviews beforehand and was expecting a horrible experience. Still, it was the most simple stable I could find which was what I needed for a 2 year old horse-lover. I was pleasantly surprised! The wood is thick and sanded soft and smooth. I was afraid it would be thin or crappy in some way but it feels nice in the hands. It is also a great big size. Assembly only took about 35 minutes and was pretty intuitive. The trick, I think, to making the pieces line up is to leave the screws loose while you get the overall structure together, then tighten them at the end. If you tighten too soon you have no wiggle room to adjust. You should really use that technique with ALL projects that require assembly, you'll finish it a much happier person. The screw holes are a little too big so the screw doesn't have as much to resist against and the screws seem a little low quality, therefore resulting in easy stripping. Just be careful, be sure to push very hard as you screw it in. I really didn't have any problems with them in the end. I am very happy with it! It's simple and cute and a nice weight. I love the little door latch and the chains behind the stalls. I paired this with some Classic series horses and it's nice and roomy for them with lots of space for food and hay and buckets. The horse pictured in the right side of the stable must be a Traditional (bigger) horse. I also ordered the wooden corral fence and it is the exact same thick soft wood and fits great around the stable. Happy hunting!!!!

La scuderia si presenta bene, curata nei dettagli e bella da vedere. Può essere utilizzata per 2 cavalli in scala 1:9 o 1:12.E' bella, ma la trovo abbastanza costosa (come tutti i prodotti di questa marca).

Bought this for Xmas 2012 and I just know my 11yr old daughter is going to totally love it!! It was fairly easy to put together although you do need to take your time to get it right and the finished stable is amazing. It is good value for money and is well made. I would definately recommend this stable to all who collect Breyer.

I built this for my granddaughter for Christmas and she loves it. All the pieces and directions were marked easily. I added wood glue to each piece before screwing together for extra sturdiness.Wood is great quality and I'm sure this will last a long time.
