SunBlaster 12" Prism Lens 12W 6400K Full Spectrum LED Strip Light Indoor Greenhouse Plant Grow Lamp with Built-In Reflector & Mounting Clips

I've used SunBlaster horticultural lighting for 4 years or so. I have the 4-foot and 2-foot models for houseplants, for which they are extremely effective, and recently bought this 1-foot unit to mount over a heavily planted fish tank (screwing the brackets to a shelf above the tank).The units look much sleeker than typical high output t5 fluorescent lights, for which they were originally offered as a replacement. The aluminum housing does a good job of diffusing heat, much better than other LED strip lights and arrays I have around my house.I have 3 4-foot lights on a stand over houseplants that are 3 feet from my ceiling on my workstation, facing up to the ceiling, for reflected, indirect light because my plants are low light plants.While these lights are marketed to the horticultural market, they are attractive and sleek enough to easily incorporate into a more modern, minimalist, industrial-looking home decor (where aluminum and black fit in easily).With these lights, my houseplants thrive, my aquarium plants thrive, even a new terrarium with rheophytes is growing quickly! For the quality of the lights and the great design, these lights are nicely priced.(For commercial horticultural and hydroponic use, for cloning and cultivating low light plants, I would expect them to work well, although you would need to make sure that your total lumens were adding up to a sufficient amount for your species.)

On previous purchase of your Grow Garden, I noticed your power cord shorts out, makes popping noise when plugged in.

I had a no name brand from Amazon "grow light" with wacky bendy arms (you know the ones) installed above my vertical vivarium (outside the mesh top). I had it there for a few weeks and the plants inside were just...not doing great. Getting droopy and leggy and what not. Decided I should switch out lights. Did some research and landed on Sunblaster. It's only been installed a week now but I just had to come say how pleased I am! The plants are absolutely turning a corner with this light. They're putting out lots of new growth and are looking healthier than ever. Should have done this from day 1! I'm excited to see how the plants continue adjusting :D (Yes it's still installed outside, above the mesh top)

I use these in my ikea green house cabinets, I waited over a month to leave this review but my plants have been thriving, these lights are legit and worth your buck for sure!

I have 5 or 6 lights and I love them.

The product itself works well and is good on power consumption. The biggest issue is the cord stopped working. I had to use the cord from my old sunblaster to get it working again.
