My vegetarian friend wanted me to make my southern chicken and dumplings recipe for her and our friend group for Galentine's, but she doesn't eat chicken broth or bullion. So I was perplexed and bought this with tentative hopes. It worked! I substituted vegetable broth and added this for chicken flavoring and it tasted just like my normal chicken and dumplings! She and the rest of our friends loved and devoured them, and I was equally impressed. This really does give a true chicken flavor without using any actual animal!

The taste of this product is very close to real chicken, but there's something definitely missing in the flavor. A larger amount of the powder is necessary to dissolve in water - particularly, if you're making a gravy.

I have now used No Chix bouillon for potato and leek soup, and two pots of spicy sausage, white bean and kale (all vegan). I tend to add a little extra for a more hearty stock. The flavor is great. I love how simple and clean the ingredients are.

Has good flavor , smells great and taste pretty good too , but no matter how much you stir the seasoning mix it doesn’t dislike well , it sits very heavy at the bottom of the cup like sand !! Uugh

Perfect. No meat, fits in our spice cabinet, and great taste😃 I plate up gluten free noodles and ladle a white sauce to which I've added Hella Phat No Chick Bouillon. Great with Zucchini, carrot, and onion also.

Glad for the great price on bigger jar. I just refill the smaller jar when needed. Delicious flavor, lower sodium.

Tasty, really delicious chicken flavor and doesnt take much. However. Its way overpriced. Only bought once. I bought for 13.49 now 14.99. no. Now i make my own. If you can afford that for one spice regularly, go for it.
