Nice bang for the buck
I was looking for a pair of classic style headphones, Bluetooth capable, that weren't going to cost a ton of money. These would be "utility" headphones, worn whenever I decided I wanted some portable music to listen to, TV or YouTube to watch without disturbing others and any other situation where not having a corded headset was needed. I'm not a big fan of earbuds; I find them uncomfortable and prone to falling out if I'm doing something like running. These are very comfortable headphones to wear. The headphones sit on your ears; they are not full ear cup headphones blocking ambient sounds nor are they noise cancelling in any manner. The ear phones are low profile and fold flat so they store nicely when laid down. These are good sounding headphones to listen to. For twenty three bucks, they sound a lot better than their price might make you think they're gonna sound. JVC did a good job balancing audio quality and price point in making these phones. Like beauty being in the eye of the beholder, the sound of these headphones, ultimately, will be in the ear of the listener. Keep your expectations real: do not assume for one moment these JVC headphones are gonna sound like a pair of audiophile headphones; they're not. I find them easy to listen to; not the best but certainly far from the worst. These are very basic headphones. They have an on/off button and volume up/down buttons. The biggest problem is the volume buttons are too small. When wearing the headset, it's about impossible to find the buttons as they have little to no tactile feel to them; the only button that does is the on/off button ...which you will push thinking it's one of the volume buttons. There is no carry case or bag, no built-in mic, it won't answer your phone or start your car. The basic-ness extends to the version of Bluetooth these headphones employ: Bluetooth ver. 5.0. I believe the current iteration is 5.3. Nowhere on the box or the headset does it say what version of Bluetooth the headphones use; it's only found buried in the Amazon listing. And given their price point, it makes sense they'd have an older version. These headphones come with horrible instructions. Intermingled on the once unfolded large sheet of paper, covered in warnings and warranties for about 20 countries in 18 different languages, are the graphics-only instructions for the headphones to include one tiny QR code you will overlook. If you flunk interpreting hieroglyphics, you can score the worded instructions using the QR code. You will also discover how to *reset* or reactivate the pairing mode for the headphones ...something not intuitive from the buttons on the headset.Barring the instructions, these headphones are great. For the price, I doubt you'd find better sounding headphones. They are comfortable to wear and relatively compact. The fact they use Bluetooth ver 5.0 may be an issue with video audio latency ...they seem to work okay watching YouTube videos on the cellphone. Overall, these are definitely a nice bang for the buck.

Great sound for the price!
For $23, these headphones sound great! I wanted an inexpensive set for listening to YouTube, movies and music with a decent sound quality. These definitely deliver.

Love these
I've always liked these since they're so lightweight yet noise canceling. The folding of the headphones makes for easy storage as well.Only downside is they don't last, but that's the status quo with corded headphones. The wire always gives out, even when you're careful.Still worth the money since they sound great for what they are, and don't hurt your ears or head even with extended use.

Not what I need...
I have really sensitive ears and a sensitive head. If I put my sunglasses on top of my head then I can still feel it on top of my head for like half an hour after it's removed. Whenever I put any headphones in my ears or all over my ears it feels like this horrible suction feeling of like a tin soldier band beating on the inside of my brain. I always buy a super cheap lightweight headphones like from the '80s where they feel like they're about to fall apart on you and have that nice soft foam without any cover on it. You can barely feel them on your head and they give you a little space next to your eardrum so your ears can breathe and they almost never come in Bluetooth. Anyway my favorite pair broke and I couldn't find the same one again so I tried out these and they hold my head like a vise and press down on the top of my skull and have that horrible suctioning feeling like I'm listening to music underwater. Absolutely painful and I just wasted $30. The sound quality is okay and they look nice and they function. I can't really hear the music coming out of them unless they are on so it's good if you want to keep your music really private but I will not be using these. If you are a normal person who is not ridiculously sensitive with headphones you might like them or if you have a really flat head because the top headband has no give and they don't stay up or on without pushing against your head.

Not bad!
The sound is not bad, it's perfectly acceptable—of course these are not going to sound as good as your $300+ pair of noise cancelling, over the ear, top of the line headphones (shown), but you weren't expecting that were you?The real reason you'll be buying these headphones is to have an extremely light wireless OPTION. They're very small—This is my very small, very lightweight, very wireless OPTION—Over the ear instead of around, moderate battery time (about 1/2 of the Sonys), and no ANC eliminates even more weight. Less components, less weight, more comfort. The Sony is for serious listening, and this JVC for casual.
