Good spark for your buck
The best spark plugs available for this car & this car was originally equipped W/ these plugs & ran good to past 70K milles.

OEM design, ready to install
OEM design arrived in new condition, pre-gaped and installed in minutes. Runs great. NGK claims these have a coating or plating on the threads that eliminates the need for anti-seize. The claim is that this plating prevents corrosion that can cause damage to the threads of the head when servicing the plugs and prevents you and I from over torqueing.I am a bit old school and have had to repair heads damaged from the spark plug coming out with the threads. I have never had to repair one that had anti-seize on the threads. You choose but do yourself a favor and wait until the motor is cool.

One of the Best Ever
NGK Laser Iridium are the best plugs I have ever used, as of 2015. I changed mine for new ones after 60K miles. The gap still measured at the factory set gap width. Obviously, I could have gone much further than 60K before I needed to change them. Bosch makes a Double Iridium model that is even better if it is made in Germany and not by Bosch in China.

You don't improve performance JUST with new spark plugs. NGKs are THE BEST, but let's be realistic.Add some low pressure exhausts... cat backs (Borla or Magnaflows)... and an Injen Cold Air Intake. Spring for some Deatschwerks injectors and fuel pump... and don't forget performance ceramic brake pads (I like Hawk).You'll need the brake pads because you're now driving a rocket.Total investment, if you shop carefully and patiently: less than $3000Makes a $20K car run like a Vette.
