It's a light blonde , basically baby powder - I let it sit for a minute then toss my hair around and it works great

The Batiste Dry Shampoo Plus has a hint of color, but otherwise is the same. It refreshes just as well.

Q: Does this work well for color treated hair? Does it remove hair spray residue?

Yes for color treated hair. I use to freshen up my hair to last until hair wash day. Not sure if removes hair spray residue.

Q: Which other scent does it come closest to? I love the tropical and brunette ones. Haaaaate the original and the other ?blue one.

The blonde doesn't really have a scent. The smell would be similar to the brunette one...just a fresh smell nothing overpowering.
