Love it! Hubby bought his and hers black tech-3 and then lost his, so I gave him mine and bought myself a white one.My principal borrowed my white one and then lent it to a student who lost it, so I bought another white one.My white one disappeared so I bought a blue one.The blue finish started peeling, so it will be my school pen, and I now have a chrome pen for my purse.This is my fifth pen in five years, but not because of mechanical or quality problems!Love that I can grade papers without having to switch pens depending on the color ink students used, can switch to pencil without having to look for another writing instrument, and can use the stylus when zombie fingers aren’t being recognized!

This stylus is a wonderful addition to the Cross line-up.

This product is not as the picture shows. It is not the Cross Tech 3 "with" the extra cap. It is the new version with the cap and without the old-version-cap.

I'm very upset that what I received was not the picture. I was looking for the Cross Tech 3 pen. Not the Tech3+. This one does not come with the two caps and only with the stylus which I do not prefer.

Received a different cross multi-function pen which did not have a stylus....and that was the main reason for buying same.

Cross won't send out a pencil mechanism to replace the faulty one on my Tech 3, but insist that I send the pencil to them for repair or replacement. Further, customer service informed me that I should send the pen by UPS or FedEx because "...we service those first because the people paid to get it to us."So take Cross's "lifetime guarantee" with a grain of salt. Yes, they'll service your pen or pencil and return it to you with a turnaround time of "four to six weeks," and you will need to pay UPS or FedEx to speed up that service (no guarantees) and you will be without your pen or pencil for a month or more.In fact it seems like Cross wants to have their cake and eat it too when it comes to assuring the purchaser of their lifetime guarantee. They seem to be saying, "You can buy with confidence because our writing instruments are guaranteed for life," while at the same time making the option of actually getting a repair as unattractive as legally possible, just short of saying, "We were just kidding about that guarantee." Legally within acceptable parameters, but ethically right (write) on the edge.Nice pens and pencils. Poor customer support. I suppose it's a Cross we'll just have to bear if we want to use their writing tools.UPDATE 8 April 2017:I've lost three of these and I'm giving up. The pocket clip bends over a period of months and loses its grip. The pen then slips out of your pocket and into the hands of the new owner, who will be disappointed when the exact same thing happens to him or her.The Pentel Multi Function Pen Vicuna EX, Fine Ballpoint Pen and 0.5mm Mechanical Pencil, Black Body (BXW1375A) is not quite as elegant in appearance, disappointingly, and the selection of ballpoint tips (red or black) is not made easy by marking one or the other so that they can easily be distinguished, but it does stay in your pocket, and the clip is secure.With a replacement cost 66% lower than the Cross, and a reduced likelihood of loss, the Pentel does become an attractive alternative to the Cross for those who prefer the multi-pen/pencil function.
