Krause's Food & the Nutrition Care Process 14th Edition

Great book. Forget those YouTube nutritionista "gurus" who try to tell you that meat is gonna give you cancer. This is actual science-based information! With source citations! I'm not even in school for nutrition. I'm a bodybuilder and I want to learn more about how our bodies work. So I bought this book. I didn't bother with the newer edition because of the price. This is good enough for my purpose!!

The book was for less price when compared with others and it was in a very good condition almost like new

It’s a very heavy book! But it is packed full of information. I am in a masters nutrition program and it is required reading. I really like it so far. Very well written and easy to understand.

Got the book and it is still in pretty good condition, I think its from some library out there.

BruhInk smudges galore. I touch it slightly, text gets all jumbled up. I place my hand on the text to hold it, text gets all jumbled up. I breathe in the general direction of any word, the text gets all jumbled up. Im not even that oily or sweaty. Thanks for the newfound insecurity.Informative text, needs a bit of context so you can't dive right in unless you have some background, still very interesting to use it as a study guide for topics.If only the quality of the textbook was as good as the information. Sad to see it being degraded everytime I use it. Just want to put it in a pedestal in a glass cage, like an ancient artifact.

One of the few books I kept from class. It has a lot of really good information and I will be referring back to it during and after all my schooling.

My daughter is an undergrad of science & nutrition - the book was a Christmas gift request. She preferred a new, physical copy of the book for current & future reference as well as an addition to her library stockpile. I've never spent over $100 on a book for myself & doubt I ever will. But I do trust that she knows what's good for her educational interests. Book is new, pristine condition, arrived timely, & is far heavier than I would want to lug around town in a backpack!

I bought this book used but I'm quite sure it was brand new. Needless to say I was thrilled! Great book that covers all the topics I'd hoped. I'm using it as a study aid for the RD exam.
