Q: do the gel crystals change colour such as orange indicating moisture level?

This product does not change colour. You would need Orange Indicator Beads for that - We do sell it, but, orange indicator gel can discolour light colour flowers as the orange colour can bleed into the petals.

Q: Seaweed , will this work for drying seaweed for home arts and craft projects ?

It would think it would if you don’t put it on wet. Dry it out with kitchen roll and then submerge it in the gel for a couple of weeks check it and leave for a bit longer if not fully dried. The gel can be reused by putting it on a tray in a low oven for a few hours.

Q: Can this silica be reused?

Yes, you can. It comes with a clear instruction leaflet. Basically, you would need to put the silica in a warm (not hot) oven for a period to dry it out before reuse. (You don’t have to do this after every drying project though, as far as I know; just once it’s efficacy has lessened due to exposure to too much moisture).

Q: Hi, where can I find the guide?

there should be a guide on how to use this product in the tub if its not there you can find a useful guide online but it depends on what you want to dry out as to how long you leave it eg flowers and plants can take between 7 and 20 days to dry out, hope this helps.
