Tasty sauerkraut
Enjoyed this sauerkraut, went to buy more but saw you were out of stock. I'll keep on checking and I'll buy some more when you're stocked again

Delicious, but how much?!
Despite its price, I decided to give this a go and I must say, it's lovely sauerkraut - fresh and zingy. I'd buy something like this regularly if the price wasn't so ridiculous. I have absolutely no idea how £13 can be justified for some fermented cabbage with salt. Great product but just too expensive unfortunately. Feels like it should be £8 at most and even that would be a stretch.

Love the 'Tangy' flavour of this Sauerkraut. Just right for me.
I have purchased this Sauerkraut once again and find it quite delicious. However the last 2 jars were delivered with the seals broken. I contacted the company who were very kind and accommodating. I was given a full refund for which I am grateful. It was a pleasure to deal with this company and won't hesitate to make further purchases.

Addictive BUT EXPENSIVE!
New Edit:I stopped buying it as the last time it arrived both jars were leaking and the sauerkraut had gone off. It's too expensive to afford such mistakes. Easier & cheaper to make my own.EDIT: I was looking to buy more of this stuff, but the price jump from 9.99 for 2 jars to 16.42 is too much. I'm skipping. Will make my own or buy a different brand.I've only recently started eating this Sauerkraut, and I must say it is addicitive. I have never had Sauerkraut before, so this is my first experience. Its salty, sour and the cabbage is still slightly crunchy. It would go well on burgers (instead of pickles), or you can simply just have it on the side of whatever meal for some acidic/sour relief. Flavour wise I love it.I primarily bought this for the benefits to the gut bacteria so have had the side effect of being extra gassy. Its not too bad, maybe I'm eating too much (can't help it, it's yum!).In fairness I have nothing to compare this to, however, that does not take away from the product being well made. I just wish it was slightly cheaper, however, you get what you pay for, organic, raw good quality Sauerkraut. Will be buying more.

Both jars leaking
I received 2 jars of Sauerkraut and the lids had 'popped' on both. One was leaking and had rust and mould on the inside of the lid so neither jar is safe to eat. The product looks ok but it's far too expensive to risk another wasted purchase. It's appalling that there's apparently no way to apply for replacement or refund.

I can't get enough of this!
Those of you who care about your microbiome and gut health will probably know how difficult it is to get hold of live, unpasteurised sauerkraut. I can understand why supermarkets want to Er on the side of caution, but it is frustrating that they wipe out every bit of goodness from their product. Thank heavens, then, for 'the cultured food company'. They seem to be one of the only companies that supply LIVE, unpasteurised sauerkraut. that means its crammed with probiotics, and good bacteria, not to mention vitamins A, B, C and K and a whole host of minerals. I went looking for this stuff after a horrendous bout of campylabactor food poisoning. Honestly, it felt like how you imagine it would feel to drink Bleach and have your intestines chemically burned out from the inside over 77 hours! It was awful.Anyway, after it had passed, I thought I'd better try and repair the damage. So I went probiotics crazy. Greek yogurt, kefir, sauerkraut. I was cramming it all in! I'd never tried sauerkraut before and didn't know if I'd be able to take to it. But, honestly, it's delicious. I think you have to be the kind of person who enjoys pickled eggs with fish and chips, and will pop a pickled onions now and then to enjoy sauerkraut. It's certainly the kind of thing you either love it or hate it. But there's no denying the good it does for you. The jar is huge by the way. That's probably more than I'll be able to eat in the time frame, but I guess they have to produce it in those quantities in order for it to be economically viable. I'm just glad someone is actually producing the proper stuff and it's easy to get. Definitely recommended.
