Beadalon WXM-040 Memory Wire, Gold Color, Ring

I bought this Memory Wire with the idea to make MEMORY WIRE BRACELETS. I purchased two packages and I was shocked when I received them and saw how small the wire was coiled. What I had in mind was Wire that was larger and it looks like a slinky. This wire has to be pulled on constantly just to stretch it out. I saw a photo of this out of the package and it did appear larger.I wanted to make a MEMORY BRACELET FOR MY BIRTHDAY. So I started stretching the wire out. Finally I stretched out enough until I was satisfied. I also did not find this wire simple to work with. Due to it’s small size it curls back up. That’s fine but not when I had so much trouble stretching it out. Once I got all of the BEADS on and looped the wire, I simply “COILED” the BRACELET around my wrist. I kept adjusting it until I was comfortable with the fit. In spite of my torture with this wire The BRACELET came out nicely. At this time I haven’t made up my mind if I will buy more of this item.

Package was open and wire was cut into two pieces. Looks like it had been used . The only reason I didn’t send it back was because I needed it for a class I was teaching

I love this stuff! Even if it wasn’t incredibly useful for making jewelry ( which it is) it also makes a super cool mini slinky 👍

With a little bit of stretching this is an excellent medium for hanging object in windows ( coloured glass items, ornamental birds etc ) The wire is good quality and seems very robust.
