An easy way to repair your aged vintage speakers..
With a tube of T-8000 flexible glue and these bad boys, you can repair the rotten or missing speaker surrounds in a few minutes. After about 40 years the foam rubber surrounds on your speakers are probably beginning to return to its natural state of black sticky runny tar- like mess. They may look ok at first glance, but touch it with the minimum of pressure, and it sticks to your fingers and turns to gunge. Simply remove the remnants with isopropyl alcohol, a cotton bud and a bit of patience, you'll have your speakers sounding good again. Plenty of videos on YouTube to help you out.
