Aarke Carbonator 3, Sparkling Water Maker with Water Bottle, Matte Black Finish

JPDATE….its now over 2 years since I purchased my Arke and its used daily. I make 1-2 bottles of sparkling water and it’s as good as the day it arrived. I buy my replacement cycling from our local supermarket. I have 2 of them so never run out. You must fill to the indicated line, I’ve noticed a negative video review but you can see the gas pipe isn’t actually in the water so I presume that’s why theirs isn’t working. The bottles don’t last forever, one of ours stopped sealing so was no use for storing the water in the fridge. Still give it 5 stars and definitely recommend if you want a stylish looking carbonated drinks makerIt looks great but at the end of the day it’s a soda stream which you can buy a lot cheaper. That said, I brought it for its good looks as I don’t like plastic things on my countertops. Initially the unit felt unstable but once you install the gas canister the weight of that makes it very stable. The gas canister isn’t included so order it with the carbonatorI drink a lot of sparkling water so was constantly lugging at from the shops and then having to store it all somewhere. This has eliminated that plus a lot less plastic bottle wasteDisappointing that you can’t add flavour to the Aarke bottles, you have to pour the sparkled water into a glass and add there. I prefer to drink from the bottle so maybe a soda stream would have been better for this reason. I’m happy to put up with this as everything else about the Aarke Carbonator is excellent

This was bought for my wife's Christmas. She had asked for a 'soda stream' but after much research, it seemed that this product was more solidly made and had more of a wow factor. My wife loves it and it looks great so it stays on the kitchen worktop, rather than being tucked away in a cupboard. It is used constantly and has worked perfectly since Christmas. Providing a gas canister as an option would be ideal but not a big deal to buy separately.

Stunning, easy to use piece of kit, no plug or wires so can go anywhere so perfect shape and size and look neat and tidy. Good price on Amazon, taste/bubbles:water quality good and so eco friendly....but pump/fizz is blinking loud

I bought this 14 months ago and I haven't looked back! The machine is as sleek and simple as it looks and fits in well in our kitchen. Refill gas canisters are easy to come by and overall really happy with the product. You can control how much fizz you want to add to the water by how long you hold the handle down/ how many times you pull the handle which is great for those with different preferences. Really happy with this purchase and would recommend to anyone considering a carbonator!

Really good solid item, not like the cheaper plastic versions. Beautiful black finish looks elegant. Moving parts are all metal, feels better to operate than it’s rivals.

£140 and no gas included? That was the first disappointment. Second being this model is not compatible with the glass bottles which was one of the reasons for purchasing this brand.Other than looking and feeling pretty cool - the only reason for giving 3 stars - hard to see how this is any better than a soda stream (we’ve had one before) tbh. Pretty disappointing for an apparently premium product and brand.
