That's how important it was for me. I just want to say... These supplements are pure and they work right away!! Maca is known to improve your mood, give you emery and improve your sexual desires and this product does just that. I alternate it with Rhodiola and Ashwaganda. I feel mental clarity and focused and have been having more sex!! Haha!! It's good stuff!! Do your research and buy this product. I'm very impressed with the quality. I bought this because I was feeling depressed for no reason. I'm a health nut who practices eating healthy and exercise as a matter of fact It my passion to help other achieve health and fitness but I found myself depressed with no zest for life. Not anymore, I'm back and I thank God!! This is a good pre workout supplement too!! Try it!! To me, Maca Root smells and taste a bit like boiled okra. I mix Maca and St Johns Wort together both by Bulk Supplements. I place the products in a weekly pill box (holds 21 individual small containers) on Sundays. Three time a day, I empty the dry contents into my mouth and chase it with water, tea, or coffee. I have also tried it in protein shakes but prefer to just get it over with fast since the St Johns Wort taste is unappealing. I have been taking both products for a more than a year and am used to doing it this way so the taste has become very tolerable. Since many reviewers comment on the benefits I will limit my discussion to what I have experienced personally. For me the mood improvement, outlook on life, positive energy levels, and reduced fatigue make the Maca St Johns Wort a great combo. Bulk Supplements package their products in a heavy foil pouch and is superior to any other company’s products that I have purchased in bulk. Bottom line, I have been pleased with the quality, delivery times and recommend Bulk Supplements.

So, product taste etc is fine.I should have looked closer. I wanted just Maca Root Extract, nothing else. Well, it includes "Organic Dextrin", which is not maltodextrin but is a starch.I am on a low carb Keto diet, so I think this may be messing with my blood sugar levels as well, I'm trying to reverse diabetes, I add this to my protein shake, and my blood sugar goes up 30-40 points.I was using a strictly Organic Maca that gave 5000 mg in 1/2 a tsp. This product I take a full tablespoon to get 6000 mg of Maca.In addition, not only the Dexin going to spike your blood sugar, but as a fiber, it is also going to remove cholesterol. If you are on a Carnivore diet, you may not want this to happen.It also shifts from a full ketosis into moderate ketosis.Here's a good explanation on Dextrin. My only question is why, other as a filler, why?

I have been using maca powder for some time and have noticed some increase in energy and stamina, don't feef as run down. No problems with mixing and taste, I mix it with Gatorade powder. The seal and good company buy frpmthe bag makes it a little messy getting out the powder but that's the only draw back. Good and pure product.
