TWIST Primed & Co 2-in-1 Conditioner & Primer, 8.45 ounces

In my opinion, this does what it says. For my hair, one application is fine. Anymore, and there's build up. I refresh it by spraying a mixture of water and liquid leave-in conditioner... I'm sure any conditioner is fine, just as long as there's more water than conditioner. My hair is very soft now. Our city has hard water, which left my hair dry and brittle. This product quenches and softens my hair AND it appears to act as a type of barrier (it locks in the moisture). I'm ordering more... that's for dang sure!

Might use this to replace the dud that I got off of amazon that was the expired or reformulated curl stretcher creme. I love this, it smells similar to the curl stretcher (when I got it unexpired from CVS for my first purchase) it does give slip and it definitely instantly hydrates and leaves your hair feeling soft like the curl stretcher without the heaviness of that previous formula. I will say that I haven't tried it as a rinse. I really like the smell and I think this is one of the better products that I didn't have a chance to try when I first discovered the line. A little goes a long way btw!

First I'll start with the smell: I don't know if this is actually a mens product, I didn't get that impression at all from the listing but it does smell like a mens cologne. A really nice mens cologne I should say and personally I dont really mind the smell, it honestly smells nice, but I really don't care either way.The product overall was really moisturizing and did a good job at detangling but...it had this WEIRD foaming consistency. I raked it through damp hair, fresh out of the shower, and wanted to use it as a leave in/primer which is one of the uses it lists. I used about a quarter sized amount (if that) and started raking it through and almost immediately it started...taking on this shaving cream-like consistency and the amount I added MULTIPLIED in my hair! I had to dab it all out with a towel and try to continue to style my hair. It did make my hair super curly and clump very nicely though which my hair struggles to do sometimes so overall I'd give it a 7/10, it does its job BUT it has the craziest consistency I've ever seen in a hair product. Maybe it would work better as a rinse out conditioner? Also USE A TINNNNY AMOUNT 😅😅😅

I love this hair primer. I have curly coarse hair and I do feel it helps with the frizz and makes it look softer. The price can't be beat!

I’ve been using the Twist products for about four months now and this is the first time I’ve used this product in the line up. First and foremost they need to rethink all their packaging, this product as well as their other two conditioners are too thick for the dispenser and it creates hella frustration on the consumer. Second, I don’t know why I could not get the link for the 4-in-1 “Gimmie it all” co wash and conditioner but it far exceeds this one. All in all I am in love with the smell and their others in the line up such as Bounce Boss and the sprays. I would recommend my favorites of this brand but I haven’t used this particular one in all it’s possible ways so I say try it, you might like it as I like their other products in this brand.

I've used this product as a primer and also as a conditioner, using the "squish to condish" bowl method. In every case, I get big, juicy curls and my hair looks better using this than any other product I've used. I'm super happy with it. I also remove the top and just squeeze it out of the container. Some complained about the opening in the top.

I love ouidad products and this new line is really a good, less expensive edition.I use this item and the twist curl cream that comes in a short square container.This is great to detangle my hair after washing. I use about a quarter to silver dollar size amount with some jojoba oil, spread it throughout my hair, out on my face moisturizer then come back and comb it through.It's not greasy, especially if you don't use too much. I don't find it has much hold, my next step is the cream then a quarter size amount of the original ouidad climate control gel. I find the new control gel makes my hair flat.All in all I recommend this product for any curly haired people.

I washed my hair then conditioned it with Twist 4-in1 as I normally do. Detangled my long, fine, frizzy, wavy hair hair with no problem. I normally use that as a leave-in conditioner. Today, I decided to add Twist Primer after my routine, but it made my hair really stiff. It made my hair stiff as if I had used moose or gel but, worse it tangled it too. The scent is not pleasant. It smells as if it's expired or close to it. You can use it as a conditioner though which I haven't done. Don't recommend using it as a primer.Yes, my hair still looks wavy but feels heavy and frizzier than with just my normal routine.
