Purchased the trailer hitch cap cover for my vehicle when not towing the caravan or trailer.Its a great accessory that fits snuggly into the trailer hitch receiver, keeping dust, dirt and water out. The trailer hitch cover looks great and fits most trailer hitch receivers.

Fits great and stays on. It is made of high quality rubber.I only hope whoever stole it at the Home Depot parking lot yesterday enjoys it as much as I did!

I drive a 2018 Ford Edge Titanium and the car came with a trailer hitch which I will never use. I never thought anything about it until my sister bought a 2020 Edge which also came with a trailer hitch with a cover over it. I didn't know they existed but now I had to have one.I checked the Ford dealership and the plain cover she has runs at $60 Canadian. No way am I paying that for a small piece of rubber. So, I started my search on Amazon and found this one with the Ford logo on it for about 1/2 the price. I ordered it March 8 and received it on the 10th. It's still too much money for a piece of rubber but, like I said, I had to have one.I waited almost 2 weeks for the weather to warm up a little and put it on today. The cover was a very snug fit and I'm sure it wouldn't fall off but I could also pull it off easily. I got out my car wax and applied a generous amount to the hitch (as I always do when I wax the car) but I followed the advice of another reviewer and drilled a hole on each side of the cover's shaft, slid a black plastic tie through the holes and then through the holes on the trailer hitch as I pushed the cover on. I secured the tie under the hitch and snipped off the excess. Now, I'll only lose it if a thief has a pair of snips in their pocket.The cover came in a plastic bag inside a box and it didn't look that great when I opened it but I sprayed some Armor All on and it buffed up to a nice black rubber. This may all seem excessive to you but I really love my car and do my best to always keep it looking great. In conclusion, the Ford Hitch Cover was a perfect fit, looks great and, I hope, will help reduce the amount of rusting to the hitch in years to come.
