RUN-D A-Pillar Light Mount Windshield Light Brackets for Jeep Wrangler JK

I ordered these as I like the minimalistic look that they provide. Was overwhelmed with the quaility of these. I am functionality kind of person and these fit that profile for me. They are easy to install, look abosolutely great and have great quality. They were a great addition to my Jeep.

Like the small for print and sturdiness of these mounts. Simply remove 2 screws and then mount these up on the A-pillar.Note: if you have bigger fingers, maybe find a friend with small fingers to get the bolts and washers lined up and started on the bottom part of the mount.

Looked everywhere as I wanted something a bit more streamlined and less industrial. These do the trick and do it well. Install is very easy. Mounts to stock bolt holes on pillars and give my fog lights a bit more of a low profile as they sit lower when mounted and tuck in the corners of my windshield. Mounting fog lights is very tight. I suggest that all wiring and and adjusting light angles be done on lights before installing on mounts as there is not much room to make adjustments after words. Good looking product that provided the look I was after.

I purchased a set of dual a pillar pod light brackets for my wife's Jeep JK and the quality control was terrible. They did not sit perpendicular with the road and the passenger wiper blade hit the bracket when coming back to the parked position. I decided to return that set and go with the single pod design with Run-D. I was immediately impressed with the quality difference and ease of installation. I wasn't digging the plain steel look of the socket head cap screws that can with the set so I powder Coated them red to match the Jeeps color. I will try to upload a pic when I get a chance but If you are on the fence about these you will no be disappointed.

Have a clean look and the coating seems durable after a year, even with snow and salt. Very solid as well.

Incredible bang for the buck. Always on the hunt for a different design and these hit the mark. Subtle and modern unlike the other flat plate steel designs that are just janky. I don’t like products that look out of place and in my opinion they look as if they could have been an OE accessory! Very happy easy to mount!

Overall I am pleased with the outcome of my install. These mounts appear to be anodized aluminum rather than painted or powder coated steel like many others for sale here on amazon. They fit nicely on the factory bolt locations, the cap screws provided fit correctly, and were the right length. The only reason I held one star back was for a slight modification I had to do to one of the mounts. The mounts are each made up of two pieces that are held together with two screws. One of these screws seemed like it was bottoming out in the hole before it was completely tight, which left a noticeable wobble in the mount. I fixed this problem by wrapping a piece of tie wire around the bolt (a washer or two would have worked, but I didn't have the correct size lying around) which allowed the head of the bolt to draw the two pieces together nice and tight before the shank of the bolt bottomed out. Great mounts that look sharp, I would not hesitate to buy again. My experience with having to modify the one bolt is probably a fluke, but of you're even the slightest bit mechanical, this is a small hurdle.
