Long lasting, color as described and depicted in the image, typical lipstick but not overwhelming scent. Recommended!

This lipstick is hyperpigmented. It certainly is a very vibrant color of red, and that of course will remain subjective as to whether or not you like that. I personally liked the tint, and found it to be very striking, and attention getting. It does have a softer texture, and is easy to apply with one pass. After application, the lipstick stays quite wet. I normally would prefer one that would dry, so that I don't stain anything that touches my lips. You should keep in mind that this will certainly come off throughout the day, on your coffee cup, or whatever else you put up to your mouth, so you will need to reapply. My husband refuses any kisses from me, because he does not want to wear my makeup. All in all, I'd put it on par with most drugstore brands that you'd find, so really nothing special here.

This is a lovely shade of lipstick that is reminiscent of the glam period of the silver screen. It keeps the lips moist as well as tinting them. For me, the best part is that this is long lasting product. I want a lipstick or glass that can be applied once in the morning and then may need a touchup in the mid-afternoon. I don't like to be fiddling with my lip color throughout the day. This works for me. I'm very happy with the product.

Sometimes a lipstick just works for you and when it does, you order more than one. I have three of these Carter Beauty lipsticks. Two are reds and this one is an orange.This orange is lighter than I wanted it to be but I still like the tone of it. If it were just a bit deeper, I'd be happier.It lasts a long while for me. Of course if I'm eating and wiping with a napkin it's going to come off faster, but for drinking, and regular day-to-day, it stays on my lips for a decent amount of time.It's not drying to my lips and that's a plus--I put it on and forget it and that's what I want. Not greasy or 'slippery.'I don't care for the iniitial waxyish 'taste' of it, but that seems to dissipate quickly.I also don't care for how they say they are an Irish company but clearly the lipsticks are made in PRC (China).

At first I thought this was maybe a 4 star because it was so vibrant and shocking when I put on this color. I changed my mind to 5 though by the end of the day though based on performance.For a matte it doesn’t feel very drying, and it’s very nice and opaque to cover my massively chapped lips. The before and after on my lips was very satisfying.I was also impressed that 3-4 hours later after constant coffee, soda, snacks and dinner it’s still on and pretty bright. Sure some has worn off, but my lips still look totally stained bright pink and shaped nicely and absolutely full of color after near constant contact with glasses and snacks and such.I need to change my initial impression of this to 5 stars, as it’s a perfect choice for a date night or night out when you know you are going to be eating and drinking and want your lipstick to have some staying power to last the night. It’s worth it as a lip stain alone.The bright color even wore on me with time and I didn’t dislike it once I got used to it. It could work well with the correct outfit. It also looks less fluorescent once it fades a little.I think it could look even better with a gloss over it to change it into a wet look too.I’m going on a trip soon and this will definitely make the cut for my top choices for a weekend away.Overall I’d recommend it.
