Nice strike face

Rings like a bell.
I have several Estwing hammers. This is the second one that I’ve gotten that rings like a school bell when you strike a 16 nail. Very annoying!

Decent nail smasher
I didn’t want a milled face framing hammer. This one fits the bill. I just wish I had paid better attention to the pictures shown of the item and I would have noticed that the hickory handle is made in Taiwan. And the safety warning is stamped into the side of the handle, the Estwing name is merely painted on.
